Quote from: Oerdin on December 02, 2023, 01:10:22 PMBig government Democrats pass state level policies based upon what their urban big city base wants (along with what brain dead suburban white women feel sounds nice) but they absolutely fucking destroy rural areas and small towns/cities.  Richmond was always a run down blue collar town even in the best of times but the massive over regulations of everything and sky high minimum wage laws just render marginal areas such as Richmond unviable.

Most of these small businesses were owned by immigrants, people of color, and working class white families.  These groups don't have deep pockets and they often are just barely making it.  So when the general economy takes a hit they are in trouble but when radical leftists in the state government also gives them a few gut punches then the entire economy of these economically marginal areas goes under.  Especially when Dems do unscientific shutdowns for political reasons.  Vote blue and your town can also start looking like Richmond.

The only problem I have with this video is the comment on $20/hr as if thats a lot of money. I'll make $165K/yr this year and thats barely middle class income. $20 barely buys you a fukin  meal at McGaggles these days. $20 is worth exactly jack shit these days.

People need to wake the fuck up and realize we're in Weirmacht inflation territory.

So...  Due to Democrat mismanagement and terrible policies California has a $68 billion yearly budget deficit and Dems are vowing to not cut a single penny.  Instead they want massive tax increases even though the state already has the highest taxes in the country.

Stellantis has notified thousands of workers in the US states of Ohio and Michigan of potential layoffs, attributing the move partly to California rules that limit where vehicles can be sold.

The moves at the plants are to manage sales of the vehicles they produce to comply with California emissions regulations that are measured on a state-by-state basis.

Why does it cost 500% more to build the exact same freeway in California compared to Nevada?

This is why homelessness never gets solved in California because the system politicians have developed is so profitable for the "charities" and those same supposed charities then donate big and lobby in support of the Democraps who funnel billions to them.  On average overhead and salaries (many of top officials pay themselves several million per year) eat up an average of 75% of any money while actual money going to help the homeless is only 25%. That is on average with many "charities" clocking in at only 5%.

One charity tried to help homeless people get jobs but other homeless "charities" literally told him "if you get the homeless jobs then what will we do?" They know they are parasites who want the problem to get ever worse and not solve it so they get ever more money from the government.

In Canada, 100% of large charities are not allocating donations the way average donors think they are.

Yeah, that is b.s..  Oh, I am sure complying with California's retarded emissions laws suck but the main reason Stellaris vehicles aren't selling is because they abandoned affordable vehicles and increased MSRPs on existing vehicles by 50% since 2020.  No one wants a $100,000 Jeep or a $100,000 Ram truck.  Especially when interest rates are 9% if you have excellent credit or 19.99% if you have shit credit.

I still call them Chrysler and frankly I don't like any of their vehicles, except for the Chrysler 300.

I only see black people drive the 300 and they are low quality pieces of shit that routinely breakdown the second the warranty runs out.
