You've got to be VERY careful what you say these days if you're a politician, as the PC mafia will hound you to death and ruin your career if you say or do anything remotely un-PC.

When her father was younger it wasn't quite so bad......

That is true, but he was not a leader who could grow the movement. With her father it was one step forward and two steps back. Let's face it, he's not particularly bright or knowledgeable on the issues while his daughter has a very detailed platform.

His daughter is definitely more suited to lead the party in the current political climate.

She is a skilled politician unlike her dad.

Czech Mate

The presidential voting in France is set up so that the National Front candidate cannot possibly become president.

It is the same with Wilders in Holland. Even if he wins the more seats than any other party, the FP will be be included in the coalition.

When a 'far right' party gains popularity, all the other mainstream parties join forces against them in an attempt to freeze them out.

Very dirty tactics.....

If France had a first past the post system like Britain and Canada have for their presidential election Marine Le Pen would win. Run off voting ensures she can't win even though she will win in the first round.

Good for Marine Le Pen. True Dope would have donned his woman's scarf without being asked.

QuoteBEIRUT -- France's far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen refused to don a headscarf for a meeting with Lebanon's top Sunni Muslim cleric on Tuesday and walked away from the scheduled appointment after a brief squabble at the entrance.

The debacle topped Le Pen's three-day visit to Lebanon, where she held her first campaign meeting with a head of state. It drew the focus to her strong support for secularism and a proposal in her presidential platform that promotes banishing headscarves and other obvious religious symbols in all public spaces.

"I consider the headscarf a symbol of a woman's submission," Le Pen told reporters at the end of her visit. "I will not put on the veil."

Le Pen compared her refusal to wear the headscarf to the decision by former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama to decline wearing one during her state visit to Saudi Arabia.

"I note that when Marine Le Pen refuses to don the headscarf, it is criticized, but when Michelle Obama refused to do it in Saudi Arabia, it was considered admirable," she said, soliciting applause from the accompanying delegation.

I love how the Jewish press always has to get the 'far right' slur in there whenever parties which go against the typical PC status quo are reported on.

Very rarely you see the mainstream media refer to any party or group as 'far left'.....

Justin would have sat in the women's side of a segregated mosque with his hijab on.

I was speaking about the mainstream media in general, but I wouldn't mind betting that the owner(s) of CTV are Jewish.......  western media is monopolised by them.

CTV is owned by Bell Media. None of their key people are Jewish. One is of Italian origin though just like Total Dunce.

Bell media donated $230,000 to the Canadian Jewish General Hospital Foundation back in 2013.

I find it very hard to believe that none of the CEO's of the company are Jewish when they do something like that.......

Information about the key people of the Bell company is quite thin on the ground, and it is highly possible that their Jewish ethnicity has been omitted on google or even hidden.

Some wealthy Jews go out of their way to hide their Jewish ancestry, even change their name.  These are called Crypto Jews, and are more common than you might first think.

That donations represents less that five per cent of the donations to mental health in 2016. And not even one quarter of one per cent of what they plan to donate by 2020.

As I said, not a single Jew(however you define that) on their board. They used to give balanced news reporting, but now they are nearly as biased as the state owned and gentile ran CBC.
