No the YNC is still going I think. The owner has made a fortune because the site hosts gore videos and people pay to see so called 'premium' videos.  



I actually rarely ever watched any of the videos as gore isn't my thing at all. I just used to post on the forum.

I was a member of some of the old widely popular Asian American boards..



They weren't popular with a younger crowd because of any pretenses about finances and politics..



They had something for nearly every age and income group and every single interest including soft porn..



We had all those things you mentioned too plus different levels of membership, and a ratings system for posters..



They were some of the busiest and best forums I've ever seen.

I like a mix on forums. I like discussing the stupidity of politicians, but threads like we have here in RR are some of my favourites.  I did post on one forum for retired Canadian expats and those of that plan on retiring abroad. It was helpful. Unfortunately, it's a Facebook group now.
