I blame the Joooos!  :crampe:

For real though, ain't it a sin to get a tat or a piercing? Could've sworn I read that long ago.

It's the same with anything, too much of something is never a good idea. Tatts look good in moderation, but they're addictive and I've seen so many people, male and female, who have gone overboard with the ink and ended up regretting it years later.

The side eyed dog conveyed that skepticism.

No offense taken, BTW. I was surprised myself to read it and research it the first time over 15-20 years ago. Early Christians were subject to the same things moden ones are. Plenty of people took it that if you believed in Jesus, you could screw everyone and everything because you had a get out of jail free card.

2000 years later, people who bash Christianity scream about this type of degeneracy and hypocrisy like its a new or at least recent phenomenon. As I've maintained for years, there's literally nothing new under the sun!!!!

Its even worse on a woman because they convey a message of dirty whore. Back in the day if I saw a tramp at the bar and she had a tattoo, I knew she was easy trash and they almost always were....like 90% or more of the time.

All scriptures are a benefit to man not a hindrance. However because some people, probably most people view religious laws as God denying them something, they reject the message.

It's very hard to obey all the laws or suggestions...

I will give you an example..  if someone transgresses against me I most likely will never speak to them again but as a Christain you have to go make peace with that person... I can't do it but God expects me to.

My mother-in-law was a straight out bitch and I basically cancelled her and didn't ever go see again and she died. I used to make Kurt go and see her everyday though.

Everyone has something that holds them back.

Lokberg old buddy, you know heaps more than I do about religion, so I am willing to take your word for it.

The side eye doggo pic is just a combination of my love for animal memes and the fact that I had never heard about homo churches in the bible... I assumed it was a modern phenomenon.

I would keep in mind that the model is that Christians are expected to repent and confess their sins in order to be forgiven. If you dont accept responsibility and repent, you arent saved. My daughter cornered me in an argument about forgiving my ex wife and making nice with her. Well, the scumbag has never contacted me and asked for forgiveness so I'm not obligated....frankly, I wouldnt want to anyway.

Seriously, I encourage you to do some independent research. I think you'd be fascinated by how degenerate and deluded people have been for eons, even those in the Bible. When it says "For ALL have sinned", its no joke! They had drunkards, wife swappers, selfish clowns who wouldnt help others, and all other forms of scum in church back then too. If people were capable of being holy and decent on their own, they wouldnt need church!

Yeah, I can understand that. Human nature probably hasn't changed much, if at all, in centuries.

Well even if the other person is in the wrong Christians have to make peace... I am not going to go look for the scripture because I am tired and forget where it is.

Time might heal your inner self but don't tell us. Keep it secret from trolls.

Men hate rejection. I think they hate it more than women.

It would be an interesting subject to delve into.

You did the right thing by your kids..  you have that under your belt.

None. You aren't a baby until you are born.
