Quote from: Blazor on November 22, 2024, 03:06:23 PMEveryone has their opinion, I can respect your opinion without going crazy lol, but here is how I feel....

1) having unwanted kids starts at sex, if you don't want them, you take measures. In todays world there are several ways to do that. The Woman can be responsible and take birth control (I don't like a Lady to take it, bad chemicals), or any of the other methods available. Or the Man can be responsible, and use a condom, spermicide, or even simply pull out (my preferred method). Or simply neither one have sex, if you are not prepared for the consequences. Even if the Man cums in her, there is even a Plan B pill to take the next day.

15% of condoms fail and so does the pill especially if a woman develops a sickness like stomach flu.

Like most people I hate the thought sometimes people seek abortion but I can tell you something now, I am more comfortable with that than knowing a person will be born into extreme poverty or a cruel home and neglected than being aborted.

I am only agreeable to open adoption where a child can still know its real mother at least. One of my Aunties gave away a baby that went to the east coast of Australia  so I have a cousin I have never met. My mother said she would take the baby in but the selfish bitch Aunt got rid of her.

I think adoption is child trafficking only because we've had TV of adopted people desperately searching for their real family roots. They describe their life long pain... I feel their pain.

Very few were totally happy with their adopted parents and families and had no need to search for their roots.

As far as God is concerned since no pregnancy is a guarantee of success then  you might be surprised God doesn't feel the same as you.

There is a beautiful scripture or two in the Bible where He says the end of a life (as in an old person) is more valuable to him.

On the other hand if a person hurt a pregnant woman where she lost her pregnancy then that was deemed a murder and the perpetrater was tried for murder.

The difference between the old Hebrew times and now is that these days losing a pregnancy is a lot safer than back then.

You were very very fortunate your prem baby had a successful outcome and I absolutely get it that he is your greatest achievement and real love. There is no stronger bond than a parent child love... none.

I too agree 3 months is probably the cut off for an "inconvenient" pregnancy. But you know the other night on TV a wicked husband shot his pregnant wife in the head with a spear-gun and then murdered his little girl as well by spearing her in the head. He never wanted a second child.... on TV he made out his wife ran off.

The police found the remains at the tip you call a dump.

Quote from: caskur on November 21, 2024, 09:01:47 PMI know an aboriginal lady who died because she had an ectopic pregnancy.. I know another lady who had an  un-fertilised egg  develop who had to have it scraped out. That was bizarre.

Imo it's nones men's business and should stay out it... just supportive ... it's between women and their doctors.

My sisters 5th child last year was born with Downs. She is really well developed because she has PLENTY of stimulation...I think she is going to be OK. MY NIECE never got checked for Downs. That was silly.

murder is men and womens business and women shouldnt get away with it because of misandry bullshit.

The 2 examples you gave had NOTHING to do with abortion or men. Those are medical emergencies that have a 60% chance or more of being corrected and treated by a man. Again, medical emergencies are not handicapped by abortion laws. Thats a lie.

I worry I guess that certain people believe the lie...

An example... years ago in Sydney, AUS a woman went to an all night Chemist to buy a morning after pill and the Chemist being a Catholic wouldn't sell her one... even though it's legal to sell the morning after pill he wouldn't sell it. WHY does he get the right to deny a legal service?

If you close down the clinics that specialise in abortion where are women to go?

I am hoping men and women are being more careful because I haven't been hearing too many mothers to be, dead, and that is good comforting sign.

In 2022, 817 women died of maternal causes in the United States, compared with 1,205 in 2021, 861 in 2020, 754 in 2019, and 658 in 2018 (2). The maternal mortality rate for 2022 decreased to 22.3 deaths per 100,000 live births, compared with a rate of 32.9 in 2021 (Figure 1 and Table). 2 May 2024

Men risk nothing...

What is the main cause of maternal death in the US?
The majority of deaths in the U.S. occur in the postpartum period, from one day after giving birth to a full year later. In the first week postpartum, severe bleeding, high blood pressure, and infection are the most common contributors to maternal deaths, while cardiomyopathy is the leading cause of late deaths.  4 June 2024

While that COULD happen in America, the Chemist would be fired and sued into oblivion. The woman could go to the next Walgreens Pharmacy and get all the Plan B she wanted. Last time my wife and I were in Vegas, we were at a Walgreens where some scuzzy man beaner walked up to the checkout and asked for cigarettes, cigars, and then said "Oh yea, and 2 packs of Plan B" I was like WTF, over? That clerk didnt miss a beat selling it to him.

Oh I know on the commitment lol. But Im honestly the same as you, don't really care about money, as long as I can live and be me. Even when I was lil, I told myself "I don't want to be rich", because I see what money does to people. Not everyone mind you, but most become snobbish assholes.
