That is not quite true.



Camera's tend to underexpose pure whites. You must compensate for this by opening up the shutter by 1 and half stops, or meter from a grey card using manual operation.



The "Snow" preset just overexposes by 1.5 stops.



Its not actually "blue" but "grey".
