Caskur, for those of us that live in Canada, colourful tropical birds in your yard seems like being on a holiday..



You and Oberon are treating us with these pictures.

They class Perth's climate as Mediterranean....You have to think upside down... we in the southern part of Australia live closer to Antarctica. Hobart, Adelaide and Perth are the driest capitals...

It's really interesting to line up the markets on your moons to see the difference in rotation.  Very cool.

Yep... The one with the blue sky is just after 6:30 PM...



The ones with the dark background are taken at twilight the next morning.... The morning ones at twilight have been adjusted in a program... hit "darken shadows" 100%... It makes the background darker.



You can really take shot in the middle of the night ... It's just far to contrast... and you no detail... that's the trick... you take the pictures when its light outside. They don't telly you that... you have to find out yourself...lol

It doesn't show up in the photos but the sun was PINK and that was caused by the bush fire's smoke haze. EVERYONE stopped and got out of their cars to take pictures... The car park was FULL. It was a week day and so all the people were there just to witness it.

This past weekend, we had the Adelaide Motorsport Festival to celebrate the history of motorsport here and throughout Australia. It featured the return of a number of F1 cars and drivers to do some parade laps to remember the golden age of F1 here.
