This case presents an interesting dilemma - religious freedom vs gender equality.  Both are protected under human rights so which one wins out when they are at odds?

Islam guaranteed, even though it's an ideology like communism or fascism and not a religion.

Regardless of your opinion of Islam, it's considered a religion in Canada.

And that is why the West cannot deal with Islam appropriately.

IHJ, I have found that a lot of what you say about Islam isn't accurate so I don't put a lot of stock into comments like this.

I think both of you have made your points on whether Islam is a religion or an ideology. It doesn't make much a difference to me,  but I would say I am in the middle. I would say Islam is religion plus.
