The famous Castle Hill school. Why is it famous, you ask? Because it is opposite the cafe JK Rowlings sat in whilst draughting Harry Potter, and this school inspired Hogwarts.

A small holding cell in the Royal Mile, where debtors were held whilst being publically humiliated.

Very old apartments in an area known as writer's corner. Many Scottish authors and poets lived in this precinct.

The Writers Guild, where many a famed wordsmith would sit and write, mingle and drink. Known to have been frequented by Burns and other Scottish authors.
