Don't forget, the newer Stang's have a pretty decent fore/aft weight balance, so they'll pick up speed pretty fast, even with wheel-slip...
Contrary this to an old Camaro that I owned, which was light in the rear... Wheel-spin meant you were moving nowhere fast.

Obstructing plates is also a no-no.
