Hey that makes you just as bad for quoting the image!

I'll be careful about that from now on.

Too late, I heard him flicking a lighter
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

I have to admit I did, from the time I was 18-23, maybe 24. I've only had 3 since then, and they were needed at the time.

That's nothing. Until two weeks ago I was a regular smoker since I was fifteen.

Regardless, the message is one of the best there is

I am not over the mountain yet, but I am getting there.

I'll never understand why anyone would smoke in the first fucking place. It smells awful and it probably tastes worse.

Quote from: "seoulbro"This is the longest I have gone without  a cigarette since I began smoking twenty seven years ago. Wish me luck. I want to be an ex-smoker.

I used to smoke too.

But that was 30 years ago.

Quit cold Turkey.

Started smoking in my teens, quit after a year.

Then took up the habit again 10 years later workin' in the Bush, then quit again.

I wanted to put up the appearance that I was tough among all these lumberjacks, was one of them, but when I finished the contract, was no longer workin' with 'em, I dropped the facade and stopped smoking.

I guess some of us are just stronger, have more will to walk away from a bad habit and quit at will.

Seems to be a lot of smokers and alcoholics/ex-alcoholics here on this forum too.

Anyways, good luck.

I like smoking.  I quit once some time back, but decided that smoke-free wasn't for me.

Seoul, I have used Champix/Chantix (same thing, one sold in US, one in Canada), and it does seem to work!  Plus, you'll love the dreams that shit will give you!

Anyhow, congratulations on quitting...  It's a filthy, expensive habit, but I come from a family of smokers (Germans seem to like to smoke) that have all smoked right up until they died, so I'll probably just carry on the tradition.

Hey, my dad is seventy seven and still takes the occasional cigarette. I have wanted to quit for a number of years, but I never really thought I could do it. Now, I am really determined to quit for good.
