My girlfriend and I walked to a pub on Dunlop Street after work for wings and beer. We didn't see even one kid out trick or treating. But, it is the downtown area and the only residences are condos and apartments.

I saw Halloween candies for sale in every store I went into starting October 1. Were kids too lazy to go to houses and get them?

Makes ya wonder!

Or maybe parents were being overprotective this year.

No one dressed for my party either, which was also strange. Its like no one was in the Halloween spirit this year.

Maybe its regional this year.

I saw people going in and out of bars on Dunlop Street wearing costumes, but no kids wearing them.

It seems Halloween is more for adults now.

I some of my co workers wore their costumes to work.

No Halloween candy beggars for us. Another perk of living on a farm.

I didnt even see many adults dressing up this year.

I use to dress up for work, but where I currently work they dont celebrate anything but Christmas.
