Monogamy: Judaism is now a monogamous religion. Jews in Christian lands followed the edict of Rabbi Gershom who forbade the practice of polygamy of Jews in Christian lands. This edict was not accepted by the Jews of the Middle East and therefore they practiced polygamy until fairly recently. Other influences include: White wedding dresses, combining both aspects of the Jewish marriage into one ceremony, and the list goes on.



Commercialization of Hanukkah: Hanukkah was once the least of the Jewish holidays, and now in the US it is one of the most celebrated and commercialized.



Creating Tenents/Dogmas: The Hebrew Bible nor the Talmud gives a specific list of Dogmas nor Tenants of belief. The Talmud does gives ideas on what are heretical beliefs, but that's very different than a list of required beliefs. Dogmas (such as Maimonides 13 Principles of faith) didn't appear until the Middle Ages, mostly as a response to Christianity

Here is a short list of what Christianity has pulled Judaism away from:



Prayer: Jews used to raise their hands toward the sky during prayer but they stopped doing this once Christians started doing it. Phrases such as Hallelujah and other praises of God were toned down as Christians adopted them. Jews also rarely talk about grace anymore. Islam also pulled Judaism away from prostration as it became viewed as a Muslim thing.



Education: Judaism used to teach strictly Bible until the child was a certain age. However, Jews in Christian lands drifted away from this practice since Christians were big on studying Bible. So European Jews started teaching Talmud more heavily than Bible. Yemenites kept the tradition of learning only Bible for a very young age, which is why when all of them landed in Israel, nearly every male could read the entire Tanakh with its correct melody, even the young children.



Open Dialogue: The Rabbis of the Talmud used to speak about other religions and get in religious debates. Now most Jews are terrified to talk about Jesus, they will even give him a substitute name treating him like Voldemort.
