Trump denies saying it.

But whether he said it or not, most people would probably agree that certain countries are "shithole countries." (That's why so many people want to leave them, duh)

So, I would like to challenge the foaming mouthed media trump haters that think that Haiti and El Salvador are not "shithole countries" to pick one and go live in it for a year, and then after that time has passed, come back and tell us if they still think its not a shithole country.

Two GOP senators say they don't recall Trump's 'shithole' comment at White House meeting

He still MAY (emphasis on MAY) have said it, BUT I should have known better than to take the lying shithole media's word for it.

I was immediately repulsed by Trump's comments about developing nations..

But, if he didn't say that, I just lost all of what little remaining respect I had for the media.

If he did say it, they are taking his comments out of context just like they did when Trump was talking about the handicapped reporter.

See, here's a problem.

The term "developing nations" is a complete misnomer.

They are NOT developing. That is why their citizens are running off to other countries that have done the heavy lifting of nation building.

Any "undeveloped" country now is either stagnant or sliding backwards. The principle of migration is now flawed...where once it was a benefit to all.

But like all of humanity's good ideas, it becomes exploited and corrupted to the point it becomes a bane, not a boon.

Just tell it like it is, folks. There are shithole countries.

There was a time when people said that about the Philippines where you are from or Taiwan where I'm from..

Good immigrants can come from dysfunctional states.

Wazzzup

yes there are shithole countries.  Most of that has to do with the terrible governments in charge of them not necessaritly the people who live there.

However, to assess something like how certain groups integrate into western societies one should look at statistics. For instance Sudanese and Somalis in Australia commit 5 times the violent crime other Australians do.  Therefore Australia (and perhaps other places) should shut their doors to the Sudanese and Somalis.   or at the very least bring in only a very very small number, and make certain they are highly educated.

We need to be reality correct, not politically correct when we assess group behavior.  People from different places often DO behave differently.

That is the essence of trumps frustration and I very much share it.  many of the people the US has been bringing in for year have been making the US a worse country not a better country.  We need to start thinking about what's good for US first, not what's good for everybody else.

Immigration should not be just a charity system (or worse a way for leftists parties to build a bigger voter base) It should benefit the host country first and foremost.

Bricktop

You omit the numbers in relation to Lebanese migrants, who are also over-represented in crime statistics. Also aborigines.

Drug importers and dealers are more likely to be Asian than white.

So what do you suggest Brick?  Should certain people from certain places not be allowed in Western countries?  that's basically what I would suggest.

Bricktop

I am not qualified to draw reasoned, empirical conclusions. However, it appears to me that in no place on earth do two or more races exist peacefully and co-operatively.

Some may do it better than others, but it could be argued that racism is an inherent human attribute.

Wazzzup

BTW Along that line I saw someone post this on another website about trumps comments, and it pertains to the racial matter.

Quoteliberals living behind walls in gated communities and sending their kids to private schools, shouldn't cast stones at those who simply point out what they themselves are seeking to avoid (the shitholes outside of their gated communities)

I am certainly no liberal but I live in an area where the average house costs triple what a house in the inner city would cost.  Basically I live behind an economic wall that keeps dangerous people out.  (sorry to say most are black with a little bit of hispanic thrown in, but that is reality)

The irony is that a lot of liberals who praise diversity, who would excoriate anyone saying anything bad about black culture in the inner city, nearly all live behind an economic wall that seperates them from most of the diversity they profess to loves so much.

I guess Its much easier to be against prejudice and all the rest when you live in an ivory tower far away, where none of it effects you.
