My great Aunt passed away this morning; she was 99!

Growing up in the 70's, Sunday dinners were frequently at her house. Dinner, and then Walt Disney, every Sunday!

She also worked at a magazine distributor, and we got tons of free (old) magazines and comic books.

Thank you, nothing wrong with reaching 99 years of age.

My condolences brother.

Condolences Super. I imagine she could tell some stories and probably did.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

Angry White Male

My condolences, Super.  99 years is one hell of a run.  She had no doubt seen and experienced things that much of the later generations never will even come close to experiencing.

From my time spent in Complex Care facilities, I can assure you that most of the elderly, oddly enough, do not fear death.  They do not fear it at all.  They know when their time is coming, and generally embrace that fact with much dignity and grace.

The elderly are used to the idea that might not wake up the next day.

Many of them are wishing for death.. They have been old and weak for years..

It's always hard to say goodbye. She obviously lived a long and fruitful life. My condolences.

Try to take it easy Super, I understand it's hard when it comes to losing a family member, but your great aunt in heaven would be sad too to see you if you're always in a state of depression b/c of her.
