The most memorable situation?

Lol I dun think Australia is as messed up as the US in terms of social and safety factors.

I don't think the USA is as messed up as some people think it is.

I dun mean it's messed up like as in the movies, but I always assumed crime rate in average is worst in the states compared to Australian cities.  Though I could be wrong.

It probably is, but both countries have areas with higher rates of violent crime and areas with lower rates of violent crime.

Bricktop

Australia's crime rate is on par with the US, I believe.

All depends on what part of the country, what part of town. I can easily see it being not as bad, but other areas are way worse than some think.

I agree with that. Overall though its not as bad, at least I hope so... :icon_wink:

True true lol.

Always surprises me how different different areas can be.
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

North Dakota I would assume is fairly safe

Crime rates by country.

US slightly higher than Australia.

However, something must be wrong with the data. It says Venezuela is top. That can't be right. Chavez' socialist paradise?? Surely not.

Just like Canada. My province, Manitoba and neighbouring Saskatchewan have the highest violent crime rates among provinces. We're not supposed to say the reason, but we all know what it is.

Canadians decided lawn bowls was too difficult and they should sweep ice for fun.
