The FBI simply have not yet seen a provable motive because this person was low profile.



I've long ago learned that when similar such drastic  acts (in this crashing the gate with a vehicle filled with propane tanks, gasoline, lighters etc. and this time against an Air Force Base)  is performed by a group consisting of a mere 1 % of the US population,  there is a common motive / motivation for each such act



Clearly it was  to damage a base and or kill base personnel he hated, not to say "hi guys, I'm with you all the way"



FBI simply is not yet privy to details of what the exact motive is, but it sure wan't support for the country he lived in

There had to have been a reason why he selected the target that he did.

His Barbecue Tank attack was simply ill conceived, and not well planned out at all...

not one of your brightest bulbs, but obviously intent was to damage and kill .. in this case military rather than civilians

It's not the US ...  it's anything that would fight agains  islamic extremists ... We had one of them wait for Canadian fliers and shoot at them as they left the base .. . I think they got away or were rescued by cops ... not big news as no one was killed ... but killing was the intent

I'm not saying Islamic extremism wasn't the motive..



I don't know yet until they release more details about the person behind the wheel.

There used to be a time when people who were tired of life and the world would just simply kill themselves.  Somewhere along the line something changed, and it seems like they now desire to kill others before killing themselves.



People should just get back to basics...

Ya, it is. I remember when 2 London Specialist Doctors drove their SUV filled with propane tanks into the lobby of Glasgow Airport



A huge fire and many explosions



They had planned to bomb a niteclub with over 1000 people in it using a Mercedes filled with nitrate mixture the night before  .. but the trigger mechanism failed - so they rented an SUV and bought a dozen propane tanks .. drove overnight to Glasgow and still did their act (albeit lesser) for allah
