I laugh so hard during the anti Japan riot almost 20 years ago, the riot leader chanting anti-Japan BS was using a Japanese branded mic.

While a lot of people in China claim to be patriotic but would not hesitate to clear the store shelves that was once filled with foreign branded goods.

Damn, that is frickin funny. Does he not know what a hypocrite he is.

Lol I'm sure she does, tbh all of the ultra nationals claims to be country loving and would do anything for PRC/CCP, but when comes to walking the walk, nearly all of them would rather eat glass than offering their fair share.

You're so right Zetsu..

All of that nationalism, but it's all empty talk..

Most Chinese are not very civic minded.

It's thanks to these kind of mentality, China has been humiliated for over a millennia.  Paper tigers, trash talking, despite all the nationalism they already have left in droves once they got the chance and continue on with their nationalism here in the West.  :sdfjh(2):

Do you mean fifth columnists who come here to study while advancing the CCP's interests?

Yea, though I'm not too familiar with their background except the fact nearly all of them of them are students.  I heard joining the CCP is pretty easy and they spew too much nationalistic BS.

Here in Saskatchewan, I noice students are more nationalistic than immigrants. My told me that from his time in university.

Most of them are probably the CCP's informants dogs, simply the very low rank spies that has been stealing tech and research from Western universities.

Most of the rabid nationalism in China is a kilometre wide and a centimere deep.

They might be annoying but I'm kinda glad that's the case, would be horrible if they were on par with Nazi-Germany's nationalism.

It's been my experience that certain Chinese spew all the nationalist talking points, but money is a higher God than nationalism.

Sadly I couldn't agree enough, the majority of their money spent is just to save their face, not much invested into practical means.  ac_unsure

The best thing about good design like this one is that he never gets old and remains timeless.  :smiley_thumbs_up_yellow_ani:

Frood

I don't wear any clothing with illustrations, emblems, et cetera.

"Timeless"
Blahhhhhh...

Bricktop

Huh?

Does such clothing exist? Do you make it yourself?

Frood

I buy what I can unbranded or basic (T-shirts for instance) and remove the emblems of what I can't buy unbranded with a stitch remover.

I don't have the skills to make those design, but most traditional or formal clothing IMO are pretty timeless along with drawing printed or embroidered with nationalistic representation.  The one Poppy has posted with a printed artwork of a guy and a girl on a bike, to anyone that enjoys anime knows it's symbolic of Japanese youth culture to a level it's been used and abused endless times, lol.  ac_cool

Chinese are a pragmatic people. Nationalism, like any other ideology is fine to a certain point. Beyond that it's stupid.
