If there were living former slaves, they would be entitled to compensation for their labour..

I recall a poster on the old Yahoos who was three or four times as good at wordless posting.  Nobody minded that s/he never "spoke" because the images and GIFs always "said it all."  Unfortunately, that poster is long retired and this one has miles to go.
