So Renee is a fan of big corporations paying peanuts? Interesting......  Are you a fan of mass immigration also? Because the wealthy fat cats are, because it supplies them with a never ending supply of cheap labour.

Here's the problem, in the UK we have been flooded with Poles, there's literally more of them here than there is in Poland. Now, I don't have a problem with Polish people, it's not as though they are going round grooming young white girls or hanging around in gangs robbing and stabbing people like our homegrown n1ggers, which bizarrely you apparently like so much. No, they are for the most part here to work. However the problem is they have driven wages down in just about every line of work. Why would an employer pay £10 an hour when a Pole will do the job for minimum wage? That coupled with the fact that they are taking jobs which English people could have, resulting in unemployment, makes it more than obvious that mass immigration is ultimately detrimental to the quality of life for the working class.

Now as for the minimum wage, it is far too low and is nowhere near in line with the cost of living. £10 an hour would be a fair wage considering how expensive things are nowadays, but of course business owners and the elite fat cats would kick up a huge stink and most likely the price of food, services etc would shoot up, so people would be no better off. There is also the issue of benefits or welfare as you Yanks call it. The problem is when the minimum wage is so low there is no incentive to work and people realise that working for a low wage makes you only marginally better off than being on the dole. So there needs to be a rise in the minimum wage to motivate them and show them that working does pay.

Being from a working class background, which incidentally I am not ashamed of, I am around people who work for minimum wage and have experienced it first hand when I have worked low wage jobs in the past, and I can honestly say that the minimum wage does need to be higher. Otherwise, people will just resort to living on benefits.

Most employers that pay minimum wage are not elite fat cats. They probably work one hundred plus hours a week, they are mortgaged up to their eyeballs and barely scraping by. As conservative as the Seoul brother is, he is right about rapid minimum wage increases. His alternative is not a bad idea either.

I want to say though, I believe in good paying industrial jobs. It can't be done on the backs of a broke ass corner store owner. Governments in Canada chase away mines and resource development that have jobs you can support a family on to other countries. Then they take away what little money the people have left with expensive green energy bullshit. The government is responsible for creating poverty, not small business owners.

Bring on cryptocurrency.

When people no longer have to rely on manipulated fiat from governments and privileged corporations, their regulatory tone will shift massively.

If you are talking about unskilled service jobs, it's not about privileged corporations. It's about keeping their heads above water and governments across this continent have declared war on small business.

Governments through their partnerships with fractional banking reserves and use of punitive income and property taxes with regulations, keep small business down.

I never said small business owners are fat cats, I know they often struggle financially, but like I said people deserve to earn a fair wage so they can live comfortably, not scrape by.

I've talked about this a lot.

I don't go into any McDonald's often, but when I do they always have a kiosk . Rapid increases in minimum wages for jobs that are disappearing anyway is foolish. The better option to help low wage workers like Scouse would be to take them off of federal and provincial tax collection roles. Workers and small business owners would have more money in their pockets.

Sellout boy supports big companies like McDonald's over people working in poverty. I'm really surprised. :001_rolleyes:

Listen Mr, you've tried this ignorant trolling shit before and it failed. You have as much chance of getting inside of a 4400 as you do of convincing anyone you don't have a penis. Now go sell some druga.

I don't know what a '4400' is.

But like I mentioned to you awhile ago, I got behind the controls of a diesel freight train and was allowed to control it, with guidance from the two blokes onboard over my shoulder.

It was pretty basic. Slow down/speed up etc etc etc. I'm sure they were good at troubleshooting issues but we had none that trip.

Get over it. Your job isn't mentally taxing or physically demanding. You sit on your arse most of the time. It's a gravy gig.

You get over it. You don't even know what my occupation is let alone the equipment we use. It's nobody's fault, but your own that you are forced to sell drugs because you never took the time to get a real occupation.

Frood

You aren't a diesel or sparkie train driver? What other kinds are there? Do you drive a hobby coal train?

I think train drivers get around £15 an hour here, I'd certainly do the job, but it's hard getting your foot in the door.
