Weekend was good. Picked up my two middle daughters from the airport. They were at their grandparent's for most of the summer. Other than that it was a pretty low key couple of days; just the way I like it.

Pretty good. I participated in a charity 5 km run for cystic fibrosis. After a about 1 km it became a power walk for me, but I still finished it. I never was much of a jogger even when I was thinner.

I envy people who can run distance. It's something I could never do even when I was much smaller and in decent shape.

   

I did a 22 mile walk for juvenile diabetes last fall. I figured "no problem, I can do this". I don't know what the hell I was thinking; halfway thru I thought I was going to die.

Not sure how many people participated, but I would guess it was approximately 200.



As I said, I am not a runner and never was. I finished the run, but I was walking not running.



They had a bbq on the patio afterwards, but I didn't stick around for it. Too crowded.
