I don't know penguin breeds..

I can't tell which kind of penguin was in Shen Li's picture..

The Vancouver Aquarium still have the penguins to photograph.

I notice a lot of animal exhibits unfortunately dun have penguins, but still pretty cool to find out if I ever want to see penguins, then I'll know where to go.  ac_cool

Sadly no, or at least last time I've been there when I was still a kid I couldn't find any, though I got to see some cool giraffes and other birds like vultures, lol I gotta admit they're kind of ugly but my mom(a vegetarian) was fascinated with them after I told her vultures never kill an animal to eat their meat.

They only eat carrion.

Bricktop

We live next to some native bushland, where at some time many years ago, an optimistic farmer thought he would try his hand at growing almonds.

They grow very well in Australia.

However, he could never harvest a crop and abandoned the grove. It remains to this day just over our back fence. And to this day, we never harvest one single kernel. Not one.

Here's why.

They look like cockatoos from a distance anyway..

We'll take them all.

No, they're corellas...flying pigs!!! As soon as the almond ripens, they chow down...I wouldn't have thought birds could eat THAT much...

And they're noisy at it.

But you're still not getting any.
