Looking at the little bugger's eye it's like he found a gold mine, lol.

An interesting bird, butIlike your parrots better.

Bricktop

If you could see more of our honey eaters you'd be surprised how pretty they are.

Unfortunately, the really pretty ones live in remote areas and are very shy.

I think they are related to humming birds...but don't hover as they do.

They are pretty..

But, your country has parrots and we don't..

I like seeing pictures of them.

Bricktop

Well, I can only show you those that inhabit our area. I think Freud has a wider selection where he lives. They like wooded areas for nesting etc.

I have little Brown Honey Eaters, Singing Honey Eaters, New Holland Honey Eaters, Red Wattle-neck Honey Eaters, common in my garden because I have native trees and shrubs, and bird baths. I also get silver eyes, willie wagtails, ravens, magpies, kookaburrras, Hobbies, rainbow lorikeets, Senegal doves, Spotted-neck doves, Ibis, Red tailed Black Cockatoos, Pink and Greys, 28's (Ring necks), Black-faced Cuckoo-shrikes. Long billed Correlas, Western Corellas.

Seen and captured only ONCE, Greytails and Rainow Bee Eater.

Carnaby's fly over my house, sea gulls too, and heard but never seen, owls.

I want to see an owl... that's what I want to get.

We must had Mistletoe Birds because we, plus a neighbour had mistletoe growing in out wattle trees.
