I was in Langley British Columbia, Mel’s hometown today!

Here's some nostalgia for ya Joe...  On the East side of the road, kind of where the Wendy's is, there used to be an Esso station many years ago, when there wasn't much else there except farm land.



This Esso had a big happy face sign that the owner had put up.  It was always known as 'Happy Face Esso.'



Fast forward to today, and the area that you were in is still sometimes referred to now as 'Happy Face Village'...

It was nice. perfect condition by the looks of it.  How did it survive all those canadian winters?  (Must be garage kept most of the time.)
