I'm not into overpopulating. We're not doing that. Immigration has made Canada one of the greatest nations in the world, and a capitalist society requires fresh blood. We wouldn't have what we have without our new fellow Canadians.



Slowing immigration would be economic suicide and immigration makes us so culturally rich. Our levels are set at the proper amounts, and this is even with Conservatives setting them.

When it comes to you and your family, that's good immigration! But now that you're here, there's suddenly a problem with it. At least you don't want "those people" coming here anymore, even though you are one of those people.

I have no opinion on Canada's current immigration policies because I have not looked into it..



I do know that most immigrants I meet are very well educated..



I am not sure about refugees though..



They are probably less sought after than immigrants..



Family reunification immigrants are probably less educated too.

Refugees are in the most of need. Our government has recently decided to resettle 1,300 Syrian refugees.



They deserve our help. Assisting refugees is just as much a Canadian value as our immigration policy. All of us have come here to enjoy the same liberties and basic human rights.



We have it lucky. In comparison, two million Syrian refugees have been taken in by a handful of its neighbouring countries.

It worked well for the country until the early 80s. Took a nose drive with few significant restrictions until about 5 years ago when it started to get a bit smarter. It still has a ways to go.



Now go back to your computer and make up some more stuff out of your head like how many times you "heard that before" and how great our immigration was for 2 1/2 decades and wishing  things are the way you would like them to be.
