An upcoming biographical film about Neil Armstrong will not include the moment Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin planted the American flag on the moon.



"First Man," which premiered at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday and is scheduled to hit theaters in October, chronicles Armstrong's life from 1961 to the Moon landing in 1969.



Hollywood star Ryan Gosling, who portrays Armstrong in the movie, told The Telegraph the flag was omitted from the moon landing because the achievement of humans walking on the moon "transcended countries and borders." Its very good, a little dry at times.  there is also a movie, but it is not as good.  



Either way though the "ministry of truth" is an arm of the government that rewrites history to make the ruling class always look right. For instance a former war hero speaks out against the government, he is arrested and then all newspaper articles showing he was a war hero are then altered to make him look like he was a traitor all along.



there is also something called "newspeak" in which language is altered to help the rulers dominate the people.  this is very much like the language of political correctness.
