Students & parents complained and he was out of a job.

Same time the teacher himself was of Jewish descent and lost relatives in the Holocaust.

Was this the right thing to do?

Or were there other issues the teacher was dealing with?

Such as the burden of carrying around a personal legacy of his family's heritage?

The teacher made an honest mistake and shouldn't have been terminated.

Agree. From what we read, he's no vile nazi sympathizer .... simply accidentally put himself in an awkward position and goofed in getting out of it

We are in a very delicate and screwed up world of late where almost anything can set off "judgement"

^^ Who in turn are financed by jewish bankers who hate children ... seems you have not been listening to the words of wisdom we see here - or you would have known that

Meantime and In Between time:

Amazing how a nazi is fluent in Jewish speak. WTF is that all about? (he's always using it assuming he's not faking it)

Is there something he's not telling us?

Maybe some day he will give me lessons so I can understand what he is saying

Meantime. I hope he will keep it in English so I will know what he is  saying

It must not have been a public school. It's really hard to fire public school teachers.

The internet is full of Jewish catchphrases, the majority of which are poking fun at their perpetual victim mentality.

Surely your Jewish grandparents taught you a bit of Hebrew?  ac_dunno

That's true.

These days, its cool to be offended.

You get attention, which so many people are deprived of in their menial lives.

Could be, but that teacher was raising his arm, and not making a fascist salute.

Bricktop

Of course. Any provocation to enable outrage is OK.

An outstretched arm, a quasi swastika symbol, a Make America Great Again hat...

Oddly, Che Guevara T shirts, hammer and sickle emblems and Marxist slogans don't seem to cause the same effect.

Strange, that.

leftards have made everyone ultrasensitive about anything that could even possibly be conceived as racism por nazzism.  (except racism against whites and sometimes Asians, which is considered a virtue)

This person with Jewish ancestry gets fired for a Hitler salute that he didn't even mean.  While Sarah Jeong gets hired by the RACIST New York Times because she called for whites to wiped out,  Disgusting and ridiculous.

JOE

I feel sorry for the guy.

I think he is/was suffering from some form of 'genealogical PTSD'.

That is, crimes/atrocities committed against his relatives he had never fully distanced himself from.

So their pain and humiliation, he carries around with him.

That's why I think it came blurting out like that.

Wasn't his fault. It's a akin to a Tourette's kid suddenly shouting out obscenities and swear words unexpectedly in public.

He's just a victim of circumstance in a time of history he was not responsible or even born into.

But clearly, it has affected him psychologically.

I've met Jewish families & mere mention of the holocaust have clearly scarred their psyches forever.

Jokes about the matter - forbidden.
