1. Immigration.

It costs Canadians billions of bucks each year. And that is with mostly skilled immigrants from 2011 during the Harper era. Since Trudeau added more family class and refugees, which are a total drag on Canadians, the cost to Canadians will skyrocket. And Trudeau wants to increase the intake to 400,000 bloodsucking leaches who won't assimilate.

2. Natives.

For example, in 2013/14, Health Canada spent almost $1.1 billion on supplementary benefits such as dental care, vision care and pharmaceutical drugs for eligible First Nations and Inuit Canadians.  That coverage is not required by treaties or by constitution. And most other Canadians must spend out-of-pocket or buy insurance for such items.

Some government programs exist that provide tax-funded benefits solely for First Nations people, which are unavailable to the general population.

3. Keeping Resources in the Ground

It costs Canadians over 100 million bucks a day because we can't get our most valuable export to international markets. Tens of thousands of good mortgage paying jobs are being sent to the US, Norway, and New Zealand where they are only too happy to turn their resources into good jobs. Foeign rich prog scum is using it's vast wealth to exterminate middle class jobs in this country.

4. Balkanization

Despite what all three political parties say, diversity means whites bend over backwards to accomodate people who hate us.

When my paternal grandparents came from Germany and my maternal grandmother came from Japan they knew they had to accept our customs and ways, not the other way around.

5. Low Quality Jobs

This is related to number three. We send good resource and manufacturing jobs abroad while creating low paying, part time service jobs. In Trudeau's Canada, we will all be serving lattes to each other. Technology too is killing jobs. Driverless vehicles will eliminate one million jobs in the United States alone.

7. Over Priced Real Estate

We let scamming foreigners stay for crossing ourborders illegally, so why not let the rich ones price Canadian families out of the dream of owning their own home.

8. Carbon Taxes, Green Energy Scams and Subsidies

Related to number three. It sends good jobs to other countries and creates electricity poverty for Canadian families.

9. We Vote, But We Have no Real Choices

It used to be that we the voters told our politicians what we want and how to vote in legislatures and parliament. Now, they tell us what they want and how they will vote on bills. Conservatives, Liberals, NDP and the Greens are all controlled by the ultra rich global prog elite. They are all sellouts

10. Consumer Debt

Canadians carry the highest consumer debt load in the G20. That will be the final nail in the coffin for this country.

I partially agree with three, five, and eight to ten..

You and Scouse  both lean heavily socialist, but neither of you want immigrants to pay for the services you expect.

Aboriginal-Canadians have been getting the short end of the economic stick until very recently. I fully support empowered, forward looking First Nations communities. They are key to Canada's long term economic viability.

While IHJ's list contained some legitimate concerns about Canada's economic future, much of it was his own xenophoic paranoia. This country has made some wrong decisions recently, but we'll get back on track(no pun intended).

Many immigrants don't pay for said services.

This is a red herring argument. The state of the "economy", whatever THAT is, does not equate to quality of life. Governments that measure the virtue of immigration in purely economic turns are being deliberately deceptive on the total costs to communities.

When you work out HOW to create such a community, let us know. So far, all efforts have been in vain in Australia.

It is true, that most refugees today would not have been considered refugees sixty years ago.

RIP Canadian middle class

QuoteA recent poll conducted by Ekos Research for The Canadian Press suggests fewer than half of all Canadians now identify as members of the middle class — a steep drop from nearly 70 per cent in 2002.

In Galvin's hometown of Hamilton, 22 per cent said they've fallen behind in their social class in the last five years. That was the highest concentration in the country, tied with Halifax and Kitchener.

Another 55 per cent of Hamilton respondents said their situations haven't improved over the last five years.

Ekos president Frank Graves said the numbers point to a large shift in what it means to be a member of the middle class in Canada.

"The whole notion of a middle-class dream — 'I work hard, build a better mousetrap, do better than my parents, my kids do better than me, I get a house, a car, retire in comfort' — that has all been shattered," said Graves.

Graves pointed to higher income inequality and slower economic growth as reasons for the shrinking middle class.

"A lot of people are stagnating or falling behind and they're not happy," he said.
