I must admit, I don't know much about the controversies surrounding Al Sharpton.[/quote]He was involved in inflaming tensions during the Crown heights riots in NYC where blacks attacked jews and killed some.  He called the renters of a store in Harlem (freddy's) white interlopers on the radio, and a black man walked in the store and killed everyone and set the stroe on fire.  He was also heavily involved in the Tawana Brawley hoax in which she falsely claimed she was raped by some white guys including the county prosecutor who ended up winning a defamation suit against Sharpton.  



This is the short list.  He has done a lot of other things along the same lines.  I would say he is a black David Duke but actually he is worse because even David Duke doesn't go around fomenting riots where people are killed.
