I can't really respond to that survey without knowing what is going on in American universities..

I will say, I'm offended that Asians face deliberate discrimination in university admissions.

It wants email confirmation, so I said thanks, but no thanks.

I would have said yes to all the questions on the first page.

No doubt there is way too much prog propaganda going on at universities, but its basically an ad for Hillsdale college.  Which is great, but I don't need any info from them.

I don't either. I will pass on the survey.

The bigger problem is that American tertiary standards seem low compared to many other countries.

But, people all over the world want to study at ivy league schools.

Frood

Most nations have great institutions, mediocre ones, and downright worthless ones.

Take for instance Evergreen State in Washington.
Blahhhhhh...

No doubt their top tier Universities are world class. Especially those to do with commerce and finance. I suspect with no first hand knowledge that some of their medical schools are eminent academies.

But many are not. They are profit making organisations churning out students to make a buck.

US Academics are generally not as well regarded as other nations.

I don't believe that..

On this list of the top life sciences(agriculture and forestry, biological sciences, sport science and veterinary science subjects) universities around the world, the USA holds fifteen of the top twenty spots.

That's a fallacy that lesser countries employ to make themselves feel superior

It's the old, "say it enough times and it becomes fact to those who need it to be fact" trick

I grew with the fallacy all around me ... then after attending a Ohio U I confirmed  the truth of the matter first hand

It's a private American company.

They ranked British universities second and third.

Bricktop

And I have agreed that there are fine American universities.

But there are a LOT of duds, churning out people with worthless pieces of paper, often in subjects with no social redeeming value whatsoever.
