General Chit Chat / Money Heist-Korea

It is a piss poor version of the Spanish series. Take Berlin the Cassanova character. It aint really possible for a Korean guy to play a role like that. The role of police negotiator Raquel, an angry semi man hating divorcee is hard for a Korean gal to play too. Same with the Tokyo and Nairobi characters. Korean gals just aint cut out to play street wise, bad ass bitches like Tokyo and Nairobi.

Money Heist-Korea should not have copied European characters. They should have changed them to suit Korean culture.

News & Current Events / Maine Bars Trump From Ballot
December 28, 2023, 10:23:39 PM
How the hell can one person block half the folks in her state from voting for a candidate of their choice. State supreme courts were bad enough, but now a secretary of state is blocking an opposition candidate. This is fucked.

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/maine-bars-trump-ballot-us-000014486.html
PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Maine's Democratic secretary of state on Thursday removed former President Donald Trump from the state's presidential primary ballot under the Constitution's insurrection clause, becoming the first election official to take action unilaterally as the U.S. Supreme Court is poised to decide whether Trump remains eligible to return to the White House.

The Trump campaign said it would appeal Bellows' decision to Maine's state courts, and Bellows suspended her ruling until that court system rules on the case. In the end, it is likely that the nation's highest court will have the final say on whether Trump appears on the ballot in Maine and in the other states.

This was in the Sun newspaper chain. Justine has lost control of the of the immigration file. Jim Crow Joe has lost control of the Southern border.

I predict immigration is going to be one of the biggest issues of 2024 because so many other issues – housing, employment, per capita GDP, health care and school crowding are affected by it.

That means we will have to have an intelligent public debate about just how much immigration is the right amount. And that won't be easy, because anyone who dares say there is too much immigration can count on being labelled a racist or a xenophobe. You neither have to be a bigot nor fearful of foreigners to understand the math, though.

The fault for permitting far too many immigrants, too quickly, lies squarely with the Trudeau government. The Liberals' desire to show how "progressive" they are on immigration is straining our social services and putting Canadian quality of life at risk, and it is harming newcomers as much as it is existing Canadians.

During the period from July to September, Canada's population grew by nearly 431,000, the vast majority being immigrants from outside Canada. That means in just three months, the Liberals granted entry to newcomers equal to 1.2 per cent of the country's total population. That's headshaking.

The only time Canada exceeded that rate of population growth in a single three-month period was in the second quarter of 1957, when domestic births and immigration together equalled 1.3 per cent of the national population.

Back in 1957, the rapid growth was due more to the post-war baby boom among Canadians. Refugees from the Soviet invasion of Hungary made up a second, sizeable group.

That means the first big difference between now and 66 years ago is that much of the increase back then was natural, internal growth. Today it is mostly growth from outside Canada.

And the second big difference is that in 1957, Canada's social safety net was not yet so broad.

Governments didn't pay fully for health care and advanced education. Welfare and other benefits were not as generous. There was no expectation public funding would soothe every bump and ripple in life.

The great economist Milton Friedman once said that open immigration into a welfare state was a suicide pact. The Trudeau government seems intent of proving whether Friedman was right. On an annualized basis, after accounting for immigration, per capita GDP (the basis for our standard of living), fell more than four per cent between July and September.

Every presidential election has widespread cheating.

https://www.theblaze.com/columns/opinion/new-poll-finds-rampant-mail-in-voting-fraud-in-the-2020-election?utm_source=theblaze-dailyPM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Daily-Newsletter__PM%202023-12-12&utm_term=ACTIVE%20LIST%20-%20TheBlaze%20Daily%20PM
Using a conservative estimate, it appears likely that more than 14 million ballots cast in 2020 were fraudulent.
One in five voters who cast mail-in ballots during the 2020 presidential election admit to participating in at least one kind of voter fraud, according to a new poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and the Heartland Institute.

Specifically, 21% of mail-in voters admitted they filled out a ballot for a friend or family member; 19% of mail-in voters admitted that a friend or family member filled out a ballot on their behalf; 17% of mail-in voters admitted they voted in a state where they were no longer a permanent resident; and 17% of mail-in voters said they signed a ballot for a friend or family member with or without his or her permission.

Each of these instances constitutes voter fraud.

Taking only the first instance, this means that 21% of all mail-in ballots were fraudulent in 2020. It is important to note this number was likely much higher because the survey questions were not mutually exclusive. Though there is certainly some crossover between categories, some voters committed fraud by filling out a ballot for a friend or family member, while an entirely different subset of voters committed fraud by casting mail-in ballots in a state in which they were no longer permanent residents.

The national poll of 1,085 likely voters was conducted between November 30 and December 6, with a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points and a 95% level of confidence.

Using only the most conservative estimate (21%), the number of fraudulent ballots is still astronomical. According to election data, 43% of 2020 voters cast ballots by mail — by far the largest percentage in U.S. history. Twenty-one percent of that 43% mail-in figure yields approximately 9%.

According to the Cook Political Report, 158,397,726 votes were cast for Joe Biden, Donald Trump, or another candidate in 2020. Taking 9% of this total, that means more than 14 million ballots cast in 2020 were fraudulent. Again, this is just the most conservative estimate — the total number of fraudulent ballots was likely much higher.

Moreover, the survey reveals that fraudulent voting may not have been purely limited to mail-in ballots. Eight percent of all survey respondents — not only those who cast mail-in ballots — admitted that a friend, family member, or organization (such as a political party) offered to pay or reward them for voting.

The survey indicates that the percentages of voter fraud among Republicans, Democrats, and unaligned voters were largely similar. It is vital to note, however, that this does not mean these fraudulent ballots simply canceled each other out.

While the percentages were similar, the overall numbers were not. According to the survey, 38% of Biden voters submitted mail-in ballots, compared to only 23% of Trump voters. As such, Biden received a much larger overall share of likely fraudulent ballots.

The 2020 election was an outlier for mail-in voting, largely due to executive overreach throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In the lead-up to the November election, several governors declared states of emergency in response to the pandemic and arbitrarily changed their states' voting laws to allow mass mail-in voting. For example, California mailed unsolicited ballots to all registered voters, while many other states expanded absentee ballot eligibility requirements.

In 2020, several states also allowed ballot harvesting, which allows third-party individuals to collect and submit mail-in ballots on behalf of voters, although evidence shows ballot harvesting is "ripe for voter fraud and abuse."

All of this occurred despite the fact that the Constitution explicitly designates that only state legislatures have the power to make or change election laws. Under Article I, Section 4, "The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof."

There are many reasons why mail-in voting is less reliable than in-person voting.

For starters, state voter rolls are notoriously inaccurate. In 2012, the Pew Center on the States analyzed state voter registration rolls and found that "approximately 24 million — one of every eight — voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate. More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters. Approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state."

Mail-in ballots are also rejected at an astounding rate.

In New York, which used mail-in ballots during its primary elections in 2020, 21% of ballots were rejected due to errors. In Pennsylvania, the same scenario played out with more than 20% of mail-in ballots rejected due to voter errors.

Even NPR raised concerns about mass mail-in voting in the months before the 2020 general election.

"An extraordinarily high number of ballots — more than 550,000 — have been rejected in this year's presidential primaries. ... That's far more than the 318,728 ballots rejected in the 2016 general election and has raised alarms about what might happen in November when tens of millions of more voters are expected to cast their ballots by mail, many for the first time," NPR reported.

In 2012, the New York Times ran an article headlined, "Error and Fraud at Issue as Absentee Voting Rises," which similarly concluded that "votes cast by mail are less likely to be counted, more likely to be compromised and more likely to be contested than those cast in a voting booth."

Despite all of these concerns, only 0.80% of all absentee and mail-in ballots were rejected in 2020, according to Ballotpedia. Clearly, nearly all fraudulent ballots made it through our country's gaping sieve of an electoral system.

Though some people need to vote by mail, the practice should be the exception, not the rule. Considering most states offer early voting — allowing voters to cast ballots in-person weeks before Election Day — there is little excuse for voters who do not show up to a physical polling location. Plus, as this poll indicates, only 2% of voters would choose not to vote if their state banned mail-in voting.

With the 2024 general election less than one year away, it is vital that state officials do everything in their power to shore up the integrity of their states' voting systems and ensure that voting procedures are as dependable and accurate as possible. Our republic cannot survive in the absence of strong electoral laws that prevent widespread fraud.

Old Herman aint eating cricket kolbassa no matter what the United Ninnies say.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/un-wants-americans-to-cut-back-on-eating-meat-and-that-s-only-the-beginning/ar-AA1lcuxZ?ocid=mailsignout&pc=U591&cvid=9837af8b6b2546deb6672b826b83f464&ei=167
The UN agency responsible for developing recommendations for agriculture and food policy will soon publish a policy recommendation that will call on Americans to limit their consumption of meat, according to reporting by Bloomberg.

The controversial new recommendation will reportedly be released by the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) during the COP28 climate change conference, an important annual meeting of the world's most powerful governments, which ends Dec. 12.

In a separate 2023 report, the FAO asserted that "the livestock sector is responsible for 14.5% of all anthropogenic GHG emissions," and that it has an especially large impact on methane emissions. Thus, reductions in meat consumption could, FAO argues, result in less extreme climate change.

But wait before you replace your favorite burger with a crunchy cricket sandwich or lab-grown "meat." It's important that you keep in mind that, contrary to the claims of the FAO, there is absolutely no good evidence showing that if Americans were to reduce their meat consumption it would save the planet from global warming.

For starters, even if you believe that the methane produced by animals commonly eaten by American consumers is contributing to a climate change crisis — and there are plenty of scientists who do not — data from the EPA shows that methane accounts for a small proportion of total greenhouse gas emissions. Agriculture-related methane emissions make up an even smaller proportion.

Second, total U.S. methane emissions have been in decline for three decades. In fact, from 1990 to 2021, industrial methane emissions, which includes agriculture, decreased by nearly 14% in the United States.

Third, although U.S. methane emissions related to agriculture have increased in recent decades, the increase has been modest (5.7% since 1995), and in recent years, emissions have been trending downward. There was a slight reduction in agriculture-related methane emissions from 2018 to 2021 in the United States, the most recent year for which data are available.

Fourth, there are many other countries that have experienced significant increases in methane, most notably China. China's methane emissions have skyrocketed over the past 30 years. From 1990 to 2021, they increased a whopping 75%, and they remain substantially higher than US emissions.

Even if Americans were to stop eating meat entirely, the reduction in methane would be more than offset by China's future increases in methane emissions, likely within just a few years.

All the available evidence shows that if Americans were to cut meat consumption, it would not cause the average global temperature to fall. Why, then, is the UN so keen on keeping meat off Americans' dinner plates?

Unfortunately, in recent decades, many UN agencies have been overtaken by environmental radicals, men and women who have promoted one extreme "green" agenda after another, and the problem is only going to get worse in the near future.

Ireland is going California style crazy.

A Green Party politician from Ireland is going viral for her speech explaining why it is important to curb free speech rights in order to protect people who might be offended by speech about transgender identity.

Senator Pauline O'Reilly made the comments in a speech from June, but they went viral over the weekend after rioting erupted over a stabbing attack allegedly committed by an Algerian migrant targeting children. O'Reilly was arguing in favor of a bill that would allow the government to punish people for hate speech.

"When you think about it, all law, all legislation is about the restriction of freedom. That's exactly what we are doing here. Is we are are restricting freedom but we're doing it for the common good.

The bill would allow the government to restrict speech that is deemed to incite hatred against "the gender which a person expresses as the person's preferred gender or with which the person identifies and includes transgender and a gender other than those of male and female."

"If your views on other people's identities go to make their lives unsafe, insecure and cause them such deep discomfort that they cannot live in peace then I believe that it is our job, as legislators, to restrict those freedoms, for the common good," O'Reilly said.

If the law is approved, those who violate the new speech rules can be subject to fines or jail time.

Finally, they are starting to charge these assholes who fake hate crimes.

https://www.theblaze.com/news/fake-hate-crime-hoax-ohio-palestinian?utm_source=theblaze-daily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=The%20Blaze%20PM%20Trending%202023-11-19&utm_term=ACTIVE%20LIST%20-%207%20Day%20Engagement
An Ohio man – who claimed he was a victim of an anti-Palestinian hate crime – has been arrested after authorities suspect he faked the attack.

Hesham A. Ayyad claimed that he was attacked for being Palestinian. He alleged that he was walking at 4:10 p.m. on Oct. 22 on a street in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Ayyad told officials at the Cleveland chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations that someone driving a dark-colored SUV approached him on the road.

Ayyad, of North Olmsted, said that he was the victim of a hit and run by the SUV.

The day after the alleged attack, CAIR-Cleveland released details of the alleged attack.

"The victim of the reported hit and run said he was walking home from eating lunch when a car slowed down and rolled down the window," read a post on the website for CAIR-Ohio, Cleveland. "The driver of the car allegedly started yelling at him using anti-Palestinian statements like 'Kill all Palestinians,' 'Long live Israel,' as he swerved his car to intimidate the victim. The driver then allegedly turned around and hit the man while shouting 'DIE!'"

After reviewing multiple videos from the area of the alleged assault, the North Ridgeville Police Department determined that the allegations were a hate crime hoax. Investigators believe the Ohio man had lied about being struck by a vehicle and there were no racial slurs screamed at the time of the alleged attack.

Police detectives said Ayyad suffered the injuries from a fight with his brother and the hate crime was a hoax.

"It was further found that injuries sustained at the time of the incident were caused by a violent fight that the alleged victim had participated in with his brother, which was confirmed by area video surveillance," police said.

On Tuesday, Ayyad was arrested and charged with making false alarms, falsification, obstructing official business, domestic violence and assault.

Guaranteed they are democRATs abroad.

eorge Soros' Open Society Foundations is far from the only game in town when it comes to radical leftist astroturfing campaigns. A damning new report has revealed that a wealthy China-based Marxist and his radical wife have been helping sow discord in the U.S., most recently by filling the coffers of a group staging anti-Israel protests and fomenting pro-Palestinian rage in the United States.

Bari Weiss' the Free Press recently zeroed in on how tech entrepreneur Neville Roy Singham — who lived the capitalist dream by selling his software consulting company Thoughtworks in 2017 for $785 million — has been bankrolling a pro-Hamas organization that is scheming to intimidate lawmakers and hold American mobility, critical infrastructure, and trade hostage until Israel is forsaken and the West is saddled with the Palestinian cause.

The extremist outfit seeking the West's ruination
The organization in question, the People's Forum, touts itself as a "movement incubator for working class and marginalized communities to build unity across historic lines of division at home and abroad. We are an accessible educational and culture space that nurtures the next generation of visionaries and organizers who believe that through collective action a new world is possible."

Ostensibly unwilling to test its ideas at the ballot box, TPF appears keen instead to turn to intimidation and mob actions to get its way, blockading streets and critical infrastructure; swarming political offices and businesses; and turning to other forms of "direct action." This preference for ochlocratic upheaval is unsurprising given the kinds of leftist movements and mass murderers the group idolizes, including Soviet dictator Vladimir Lenin.

While antipathetic to the West in general, TPF reserves special hatred for Israel, calling for people to mobilize "from within the heart of empire to demand an immediate ceasefire, an end of all aid to Israel, and a lifting of the siege on Gaza."

The Manhattan-based revolutionary socialist group has co-organized numerous anti-Israel demonstrations in the wake of the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks on Israel, including the celebratory rally in Times Square on Oct. 8.

TPF made clear the timing of this rally was no mistake, claiming in a subsequent statement that the terrorists who butchered thousands of unarmed Israelis and dozens of Americans were "Palestinian resistance factions" whose attacks constituted "an unprecedented liberation struggle."

Recipients of Singham's funds continued, writing, "We stand with the Palestinian people. We defend their fundamental right to resist an illegal occupation, break out of their concentration camp, and defy the cruelty of the sixteen-year Zionist blockade," likening Hamas to the similarly murderous Viet Cong as though that were a positive.

"We mobilize in the belly of the beast because we understand that we have a unique role to play in combating material support for Zionism, and weakening the handmaiden of U.S. global imperialism," added the leftist organization.

The Free Press' Francesca Block indicated that Singham has been the main funder of TPF since 2017. Between 2017 and 2022, Singham and his wife, Jodie Evans, a former Democratic political activist, reportedly funneled $20.4 million to the People's Forum "through a series of shell organizations and donor advisory groups."

Singham's wife reportedly jumped into leftist activism and professionally criticizing America in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks on the homeland. Evans' go-to causes are climate alarmism, gender, and race hustling. Upon TPF's inception in 2017, she was made one of the organization's three board members.

While TPF's website and tax documents fail to mention Singham, the Free Press traced funds from the radical couple to TPF via a Goldman Sachs-run fund.

Additionally, TPF has admitted to taking Singham's money, writing on X, "A few years ago we met Roy Singham, a Marxist comrade who sold his company & donated most of his wealth to non-profits that focus on political education, culture & internationalism."

"It seems to bother some folk that we receive funding that furthers our anti-imperialist politics. It seems to bother them even more that our funder is also a staunch anti-imperialist whose work goes back to the Black Panthers & the LRBW in Detroit," continued the admission. "Roy follows in the footsteps of his father Archie, a committed activist for National Liberation."

Archibald Singham was a Sri Lankan leftist academic and so-called "anti-imperialist" who worked at Brooklyn College.

Singham, now based in Shanghai, appears to qualify Western success as imperialism and communist imperialism as success.

The New York Times reported earlier this year that "hidden amid a tangle of nonprofit groups and shell companies ... Mr. Singham works closely with the Chinese government media machine and is financing its propaganda worldwide. From a think tank in Massachusetts to an event space in Manhattan, from a political party in South Africa to news organizations in India and Brazil, The Times tracked hundreds of millions of dollars to groups linked to Mr. Singham that mix progressive advocacy with Chinese government talking points."

In July, Singham reportedly joined a Communist Party workshop about promoting the genocidal regime internationally.

Evans, the co-founder of Code Pink, is also a hard-core supporter of the Chinese regime, denouncing pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong and Xi Jinping's Uyghur victims alike.

The Times indicated that none of the nonprofits Singham uses to finance leftist initiatives and propaganda favorable to America's adversaries have been registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act "as is required of groups that seek to influence public opinion on behalf of foreign powers."

Politics / Trump's Platform
November 12, 2023, 02:52:14 PM
The tranny and immigration stuff will be blocked by the courts.

DISMANTLING THE 'DEEP STATE'
Trump would try to strip tens of thousands of career employees of their civil service protections. That way, they could be fired as he seeks to "totally obliterate the deep state."

He would try to accomplish that by reissuing a 2020 executive order known as "Schedule F." That would allow him to reclassify masses of employees, with a particular focus, he has said, on "corrupt bureaucrats who have weaponized our justice system" and "corrupt actors in our national security and intelligence apparatus." Given his anger at the FBI and federal prosecutors pursuing criminal cases against him, Trump probably would target people linked to those prosecutions for retribution.

Beyond the firings, he wants to crack down on government officials who leak to reporters. He also wants to require that federal employees pass a new civil service test.

THE U.S.-MEXICO BORDER
Trump has pledged to "immediately stop the invasion of our southern border" and end illegal immigration.

As part of that plan, he says he would immediately direct U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to undertake the largest domestic deportation operation in American history. He would target people who are legally living in the United States but harbor "jihadist sympathies" and revoke the student visas of those who espouse anti-American and antisemitic views.

In a bid to secure the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump says he will move thousands of troops currently stationed overseas and shift federal agents, including those at the Drug Enforcement Administration and FBI, to immigration enforcement. He also wants to build more of the border wall.

Trump wants to reimpose his travel ban that originally targeted seven Muslim-majority countries and expand it to "keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the country." In the wake of the Hamas attack on Israel, he has pledged to put in place "ideological screening" for immigrants. His aim: bar "dangerous lunatics, haters, bigots, and maniacs," as well as those who "empathize with radical Islamic terrorists and extremists."

To deter migrants, he has said he would end birthright citizenship, using an an executive order that would introduce a legally untested interpretation of the 14th Amendment. The order would prevent federal agencies from granting automatic citizenship to the children of people who are in the U.S. illegally. It would require that at least one parent be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident for their children to be eligible for passports, Social Security numbers and other benefits.

TRADE
Trump says he will institute a system of tariffs of perhaps 10% on most foreign goods. Penalties would increase if trade partners manipulate their currencies or engage in other unfair trading practices.

News & Current Events / Zelenskyy

Zelenskyy is a corrupt dictatorial piece of shit.

President Zelenskyy is increasingly messianic. In his September UN speech, he criticized Ukraine's staunchest European ally, Poland, even going so far as to suggest they "set the stage for the Moscow actor."

Elections are apparently a Russian ploy too. It's not the right time for elections, President Zelenskyy recently declared, and such talk is "politically divisive."

Oleksiy Arestovich — formerly an advisor to the president, brilliant and eccentric, who had an almost magic sway on the crowds in the first months of war — has just launched his presidential campaign with a hitherto taboo suggestion that Ukraine can forgo occupied territories in exchange for joining NATO.

he Department of Homeland Security, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and the State Department all worked with American universities to stem what they viewed as disinformation ahead of the 2020 presidential election, a new report claims.

The Committee on the Judiciary and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, led by Republican Rep. Jim Jordan (Ohio), produced a document detailing a series of reports that claimed government entities worked in tandem with Stanford University and others to "censor Americans before the 2020 election, including true information, jokes, and opinions."

"The federal government, disinformation 'experts' at universities, Big Tech, and others worked together through the Election Integrity Partnership to monitor & censor Americans' speech," Jordan wrote on his X account.

According to the House report, the Election Integrity Partnership was formed to "monitor and censor Americans' online speech in advance of the 2020 presidential election." The group was reportedly created in the summer of 2020 "at the request" of CISA and allowed the federal government to bypass First Amendment restrictions by passing on oversight to the new "disinformation" experts.

"The federal government and universities pressured social media companies to censor true information, jokes, and political opinions," the report stated. The censorship was allegedly bipartisan, labeling social media posts by Republicans and conservatives as "misinformation."

According to writer Benjamin Weingarten, the evidence showed the "[Election Integrity Partnership] – sometimes alongside DHS sub-agency CISA – pressuring platforms to target speech that included statements by then-President Trump; opinions about election integrity rooted in government records and even think-tank white papers; and speculative tweets from statesmen and everyday citizens alike."

The report listed that the following politicians were censored: President Donald J. Trump, Senator Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R), Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).

In addition, pundits such as Charlie Kirk, Candace Owens, and BlazeTV host Dave Rubin were also reportedly censored. Journalists James O'Keefe, Tom Fitton, and Sean Hannity were as well.
