Dr. Phil McGraw, host of the long-running daytime talk show "Dr. Phil," criticized medical associations that promote the use of surgical and non-surgical procedures, such as cross-sex hormones, puberty blockers, mastectomies, and genital surgeries, on minors who are questioning the biological reality of their gender.

Mr. McGraw made the comments during a recent appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience," aired Feb. 20. The television personality—who holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas—specifically questioned the use of umbrella terms like "gender-affirming care."

"You know, that's interesting that they call it that, but really what they're talking about is hormonal therapy or sex reassignment surgery on children," he told host Joe Rogan. "And, in fairness, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Endocrine Society—or whatever the exact name of that is—all of the major medical associations have signed off on this."

According to the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBT advocacy organization, "every single major medical organization, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association, supports the provision of age-appropriate, gender-affirming care for transgender and non-binary people."

Mr. McGraw continued: "I have never seen those organizations sign off on anything with less information as to whether or not it does long-term harm," noting that "it does harm" children. The talk show veteran referenced European countries that have begun restricting some of these procedures.

In particular, Mr. McGraw highlighted Sweden, which was the first country to introduce legal gender reassignment surgeries. However, the country has since backtracked on its stance by restricting hormone therapy and mastectomies for minors.

Getting the recombinant zoster (shingles) vaccine (RZV), or Shingrix, if you have had an ocular shingles event, may increase your risk of experiencing a second event, a recent study shows.

Ocular shingles refers to all shingles that manifest in the eye area. Milder cases of ocular shingles typically occur near the eyelids, while more severe cases may cause inflammation inside the eyes and potentially lead to blindness.

Researchers at the University of California (UC)–San Francisco found that, compared to unvaccinated people with a history of ocular shingles, those who receive the RZV have a 93 percent higher rate of developing ocular shingles again.

Mexico City is one of the biggest cities in the world. It is also facing a critical water shortage.

Mexico City, a sprawling metropolis of nearly 22 million people and one of the world's biggest cities, is facing a severe water crisis as a tangle of problems — including geography, chaotic urban development and leaky infrastructure — are compounded by the impacts of climate change.

Years of abnormally low rainfall, longer dry periods and high temperatures have added stress to a water system already straining to cope with increased demand. Authorities have been forced to introduce significant restrictions on the water pumped from reservoirs.

"Several neighborhoods have suffered from a lack of water for weeks, and there are still four months left for the rains to start," said Christian Domínguez Sarmiento, an atmospheric scientist at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Politicians are downplaying any sense of crisis, but some experts say the situation has now reached such critical levels that Mexico City could be barreling towards "day zero" in a matter of months — where the taps run dry for huge swaths of the city.

A deranged stranger threw sulfuric acid on a woman's face inside a Brooklyn train station. A woman later identified as Rodlin Gravesande suddenly threw sulfuric acid in Juanita Jimenez's face.

Subway crime is up almost 20% in New York City.

Former NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly recently spoke out about the quality of life in the Big Apple, suggesting that there was a serious problem with subway crime, anti-public-safety policies, reckless scooters, and a significant shortage of police officers, according to the New York Post.

Quote from: Shen Li on February 17, 2024, 07:01:07 PMThe problem with the US is that your government doesn't represent the people like China and Russia do. And yes, both countries, actually want to improve the lives of their citizens.

In the US, elites take their marching orders from globalists outside the country and military contractors inside the country. They both tell those elected to office to tell the people what they need instead of listen to what they want.

China represents its people? Thats fucking absurd! China welds its citizens in their own houses and lets them die! Thats just ONE of THOUSANDS of examples! China represents its power base and fucks its people! They're nothing more than ants!

And again, we had multiple reasons to topple the Chavez regime, including:
Protecting the property of AMERICAN oil companies
Protecting the private property of Venezuelans like the guy in Florida doing yard work for my parents who was an Eye Doc in Venezuela
Promoting democracy in Venezuela to prevent the mass immigration we've had coming here even BEFORE biden!
War for oil which unlike most, I SUPPORT 100%!!!!
