Quote from: JOE on October 09, 2025, 04:36:16 PMActually what seems ta be a bargain these days is actual vintage Disney memorabilia from its glory days, eh avatar_Biggie Smiles Bigly. In fact it's suprisingit is so inexpensive as they are authentic Americana antiques. Way better than all that synthetic shit they pump out in the millions these days and costs more. It was all handmade, made in the USA & high quality.

I bought some one of a kind vintage Disneyana online. I'll post some pics if ya'll like. I know that stuff would interest avatar_Dove Dove since she seems like the sentimental type.

Seems these high quality antiques are a bargain and actually less expensive than a day's visit to Disneyland eh Bigly?
Sweetie, if you spend your entire allowance on Disney toys you will have nothing left over for lube.

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on October 07, 2025, 02:38:38 PMparking alone is running at 30.00 for the day to park so far away you need two trams and a ferry just to reach the entrance.

Factor in food, drinks, the lightning pass and the admission and you're easily over 1000.00 for four people for a one day visit

and the rides ain't even all that.

then you gotta watch all the unmitigated deviance up on public display before your children's eyes.

never again

Quote from: wꞽzег on October 07, 2025, 02:24:23 PMI didn't read the entire thread and I don't feel like going back through it but the main reason for the drop in volume is that Disney has priced many potential park-goers right out of the system.

For a family of 4 to spend a few days in the parks, stay in a hotel that isn't a dump and eat bad food is thousands of dollars. All that money spent to bake in the sun while standing on long lines for an hour or more.

Hmmm, interesting W wiser

I live in Canada so I'm not affected by the price hikes in Disneyland. But now that you mention it, I actually regret not visiting Disneyland when I had the chance back in the 1990s. Fullerton? Or is it Anaheim? I used to drive by it by I never bothered to go in.

I should have when it was cheaper, eh.

Quote from: Lokmar on October 08, 2025, 02:05:21 PMI dont think so at all. It's cheap for what COULD be a great time if you werent paying that money to wait in a line for eternity. You have access to a shit ton of rides for that money. The devaluing is cause by all the hassle from purposely overcrowding and stress from watching faggits crawl all over each other. Personally, I think $200 is worth it if you can walk on any ride within 15 minutes.

Disneyland guest dies after riding Haunted Mansion

A woman in her 60s suffered a heart attack and died after riding the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland on Monday evening.

Anaheim Fire & Rescue crews were called to the park around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 for reports of an unresponsive guest who had just finished riding the Haunted Mansion, Sgt. Matt Sutter confirmed to KTLA 5 News.

Disneyland security personnel began CPR before paramedics arrived and transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, Sutter said.

The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner's Office will determine the official cause of death. Officials have not released the woman's name, age, or city of residence.

Sutter confirmed that "there is no indication of any operating issue with the attraction, which reopened soon after."

I recently read that attendance is way down at the Disney parks. It is another case of "go woke and go broke." I think Disney has gotten too big for its breeches.

Disneyland Resort increases prices on most theme park tickets, Magic Keys

Disneyland Resort is raising prices on most of its tickets and annual passes.

The Tier 0 ticket, the resort's lowest-priced single-day option, will remain at $104, a price point Disney has kept since 2018. The Tier 6 ticket, the resort's most expensive and valid on most holidays and during the week of Christmas, will increase from $206 to $224 per day, an 8.7% rise.

Magic Key annual passes are seeing steeper increases at the higher end. The top-tier Inspire Key will increase to $1,899, up $150 from its current price of $1,749. The Believe Key will increase from $1,374 to $1,474. Prices for the two lower-tier passes, the Enchant Key and the Imagine Key, will remain at $974 and $599, respectively.

Prices for multi-day tickets are also rising modestly, between 1% and 2%. A five-day, one-park-per-day ticket will increase from $511 to $520.

Parking rates will also increase, with all parking tiers rising by $5.
