A little chemical portapotty and a few widemouthed plastic jugs and you're sorted...

And maybe a funnel for gurls named Steve...

You pull down a powerline, or hit a bridge?

Things will quickly become not so easy all of a sudden...

Residential?  I am always on the lookout for overhead lines.  Residential is where I drive, and the wrong side of the road can mean tearing down a main...

If you see me on the wrong side of the road, it's because I need clearance!

Overhead clearance is a huge issue, and I know it well with my experience!

14" (and 13' 6" too) feet is how high we generally are, and very few places are equipped for this, outside of the main highways...

I have literally stopped traffic in the past, to slowly see if my trailer would scrub an overpass.

...Unfortunately there seem to be lot of professional drivers in any industry who forget this fundamental principle or rule.

So a lot of buildings have chewed off tops on them where the driver forgot that his vehicle was taller than the building clearance.

I worked with some old fart like that.

The clearance was like 8' & he tried to drive a 10' tall bus under it.

After that bus had a cracked hood & a big red streak runnin thru it.

The guy thought he was such hot shit but as a driver he was inept, a moron.

But obviously he's not the only one.

I made several mistakes as a driver, but fortunately not that one.

Even in Van, pulling up your hood and throwing on your four-ways eventually would get you a ticket.

We'd try to fake a breakdown, so we could run into a store to buy some shit.

I got a ticket once while delivering literally a million dollars worth of Louis Vuitton handbags for rich Honger Chinks in Van...

Vuitton bags are cheap shit made in China, since I know COE...  Cheap Chinese shit that costs five bucks to make, but will sell for thousands...

I delivered that cheap junk.  And I was ticketed for parking...

China.  The fucking gift that seems to just keep on giving.

Pissing is never a problem...  We piss on our tires all the time!

Shitting gets more complex...

Parking near anything is tough in larger cities...  No room for a truck to park, and if there is, they don't want them there.  Bylaws prevent commercial vehicle parking in most areas.  When I did the LA run, I'd park out in the desert.  Literally park out in the California desert, on sand, and I'm not joking!

Truck won't fit through drive-throughs...

Out on the road for days, weeks, and even months in some cases, you can't 'pack a lunch'...

There's a man in our congregation that used to work as a long distance truck driver..

He said shorter runs pays better.

It would depend on the pay structure, as to which there are many variables...
