True in the main. Although I'm pretty sure it was that one we used  to ski in Montana when I lived in Lethbridge

Yes, summer car traffic is higher there

Coutts is a land crossing, and serves both commercial and travel..

There is a separate lane for big trucks only though.

Would be interesting to know which lane they hit hardest

In the winter the majority of crossings would be big trucks.

Would be interesting to know which lane they hit hardest ... and why hit truckers near me & Windsor ?  .. they are truckers themselves .. this thing is starting to smell like LEFT armpit

This shit ceec and old Thiel are talking about aint being mentioned on the news or any big Canadian media. It does seem strange they are going after trade which hurts the little guy the most.

This is not what a populist protest would do.

Exactly .. they hit only truck crossings here and in Windsor .. puts truckers out of work  - leaving car crossings all alone in both cities. .. what's with that???   As Thiel guessed  it's morphed into lefty type operation

And see above - they left the Windsor tunnel used by cars and buses alone & targeted the truck crossing only

When one thinks on it a bit, why would honest truckers put truckers out of work ... Thiel is right on. This thing has morphed into a very nasty Left type thing

protesters break through Surrey BC RCMP barricade with military-style vehicle as others march to U.S. border on foot

SURREY, B.C. - Several commercial trucks and a military-style vehicle broke through an RCMP barricade on the Pacific Highway as they followed protesters marching to the border crossing at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Several officers were cut off from their colleagues by what Mounties described as a hostile mob.

.......................

Around 2][This crossing exits onto I  95 to Seattle, Portland & S California - and brings  much of Western Canada's produce from SW  Untied States][/i]

Who benefits from this? Is it the same truckers who rightfully opposed mandatory vaccines to go to and from the United States? No, they bear the brunt of it.

I support protesters in Ottawa 100 percent and I oppose blockaders 100 percent. Call me a conspiracy wingnut, but that has a radical left modus operandi about it. Food for thought, that is all.

Sorry. Make that I 5 .. been so long been able to get through border I messed up

NOTE: They did not bother the non-commercial crossing a mile or so to the West at Peace Arch crossing... the b-stards  went to stop trucks carrying goods, period

Does sound a bit left wingy type operation

hmmm

Exactly

And same in Windsor. They went for the bridge 10,000 truck a day use - leaving the tunnel for bus & car traffic alone

I don't know how many trucks a day on the one near me they targeted, but it's a lot .. I5 is major shipping route

Which makes me evern more suspicious of infiltration by radical leftists. Stop commerce, but let champagne socialists travel.

Around 2:15 p.m., most of the demonstrators walked to the border along 176 Street as a handful of commercial vehicles made their way through. Initially, the RCMP had tried to keep them from continuing on, but then backed off after a military-style vehicle with the truckers broke through the barricade.

That is so stupid. I will always take the side of workers against business and government. But, workers are the ones who will take it in the ass because of these bloackades. Trudeau won't suffer.
