Why would you need a tag team partner Caskur? A real flamer (I'm talking Flame4Cash level here, not whatever farm league you think qualifies) would accept the pronouncement of the crew as to what the match card was and deliver their three posts, tit for tat, with no more than 72 hours between posts and no need for some partner to hold their hand like they were some schoolgirl on an expedition to the toilet.

And a real flamer would be able to measure their success from whether they received the cash prize that month or not. Though most wouldn't be so small minded as to bother.

You are aware (I hope) that just because someone claims to be something, it doesn't automatically follow that they are that something. A guy doesn't get to legitimately call himself a woman on the back of his abilities with a makeup compact, a pair of high heels and a set of zippertits. Similarly, just because some no-nothing leftie trolls tell you that you are the tits on the flaming circuit, that does not make you a legitimate flamer.

I've afforded you compliments on your writing abilities, but I cannot reasonably recognise you as a flamer any more than I would mistake Martini for one. Trolling ability maybe, and yours and my interactions to that end have been long and storied, but that's another skill entirely. Your anger and wishes to destroy your opponent by any means necessary, even should it take a lifetime... that will never be flaming. Truth to tell, women aren't generally cut out for it; mostly I think because you need a dick to engage in that kind of prick waving. I've only ever seen two examples of women that showed any aptitude for it and it's been many years since they posted. And as has been mentioned previously, ~T~D~T~ and its bastard offspring BH were far from exemplary demonstrations of it. Too often was the focus on destroying opponents instead of engaging them, with the result that pretty much every site that relied upon it ended up dying in the ass.

I don't know why you want to brag about being one anyway; aside from the obvious facts I've mentioned, most of the people here hold flaming in low regard. They, like you, have no real aptitude to participate in it, nor do they desire to. Like you, the example set them was inferior in every way imaginable.

Quarte of a century ago was the zeitgeist. It was fun because the participants made it fun, both for themselves and their opponents. Then the trolls, doxxers and script kiddies cam in and sucked all the air out of the room. By the time you got here, those of us that hadn't already left had all but hung up our spurs. It is what it is.

Not really. I certainly don't bother to nowadays, there being too few people steeped in the craft to participate in it and to take it in the spirit it deserves to be offered in. Take this place... a decent enough crew, but not really the type to engage in the kinds of activity that made F4$ a powerhouse of flaming, certainly not the bastardization of it that Danger promoted from the earliest days at Brawl Hall. I know you think you do, but you really don't. I don't blame you for nistakenly thinking otherwise; you arrived too late to the party, BH and its copycats were the examples you had to learn from and they were inferior.

Pre 9/11 F4$ was the benchmark to measure everything else by. Attempting to interest the ~T~D~T~ in it was undoubtedly the mistake; it led to the creation of Brawl Hall and the preferencing of traffic over content. By the time you arrived, the few of us that were left were phoning it in pretty much and a generation of "kill or be killed" personas had taken root. To be replaced by copycats and cheerleaders who would assume the identities of flamers and utterly fail to deliver the zingers the genuine article could rattle off with ease.

Your callout with Projectile Vomit at TRF? That was one such copycat... Poofer and Pickles unless I am mistaken. I saw how quickly they disappeared as soon as I showed up as NSFW... probably because they knew I'd spot the subterfuge as quickly as I did at Digital Strife.

No matter... you have your photo skills, you can converse when you choose to. That has merit in and of itself and better yet - in this day and age running a flame site a-la F4$ would be an open invitation to get the site netcopped and you chased through the street by an angry pitchfork waving crowd of lefties.
