I admire your passion on this issue, and it says a lot about your moral foundation that you are so passionate about it.  But as I pointed out above and before in conversations with you, it is an issue that has already been won from a Constitutional point of view, but is a moot point and a losing issue on the National stage.  The issue now resides with the States, so your passion is best served by trying to shape policy you favor closer to home,  (Good luck with that in Michigan.)

 I'm not so young anymore, Reg. When you met me on Valhalla I was in my 20s, young, overly optimistic yet horribly depressed and surviving.

 But my hope is dead. It would be nice if we get Trump in office and believe me, I will be out there voting. I've taught my children well and they will be voting. Yes voting Trump. Even their friends are voting Trump. It's good to see and hear them talking.

 But even if we get him...it's just going to be a break. A bit of a grace period.

 Because we are wholely..and completely fucked.

 When I think about this and how unfair I feel it is, I remind myself that we have fucking abortion vans handing out heavy meds to young women so they have painful and traumatic miscarriages. I think how so many assholes don't care about caution and figure "I'll just get an abortion" and go ahead and be irresponsible.

 We are cold, heartless, selfish and hedonistic.

 And then I see why it's nessesary for it to all crumble. People need to really feel the pain. Start valuing themselves and eachothef and human life and actual rights and the liberty we have.

 Until then it's an uphill battle. One I've lost a lot of heart in because I just can't with the hatred and nastiness.

 I know I'm tough and have a dark sense of humor and everything rolls of my back. I'm confident. Secure. I know myself and I'm at peace with me.

 I don't want to become hardened. So you see I don't bother anymore.

 And I'm preaching to the choir here so I've just been loving my life the best I can. And I am loving life right now. I have a great relationship with my daughters. I'm madly in love with my actual best friend. I'm blessed in multiple ways. I want to live in my gratitude.

 Not sour myself reading those people and trying to talk to them. It's just useless and they just spew.

 I don't even hardly pay attention to them on media or on socail media or any of it anymore. Mike (my wonderful man) keeps me posted on major things and if I want to know more I read about it and we talk.

 He listens to Mark Lavine(?) All the time and when we sit down for dinner I ask him to turn off the yelling lol. It's also Mark Lavine and Tim Pool.

 He is freelance writer and listens to these podcasts all the time.  He is going to be writing about politics probably until January now.

 So I get my info from him and I live my life like the country isn't falling apart.

Good points all regarding abortion being connected to the general moral degradation of society, but it's a symptom of that degradation that banning it won't cure.  The insidious Left has been working tirelessly to undermine the moral foundation of not just the US, but the entire Western World.

Ain't nothing we can do about it at this point except to live our individual lives according to those moral codes we hold dear.  Fuck everyone else.  I got no fucks left to give about our civilization swirling down the depravity toilet anymore.

 The other night I was sitting in his office with him having a glass of wine, watching him play Warhammer on his PC. I like the way he looks when he is focused on something.

 And I asked him why he has put up with me for 30 years. Always had my back. Always been there for me.  Because it's been a fucking wild 30 years. This man has bailed me out of jail at 4am. Covered my rent when I had an emergency. Gone with me to pick my piece of shit drunken mother up from the hospital in the middle of the night. That's just SOME things he has seen me through. He has ALWAYS been here for me. I asked him why.
