Yes, and I see that Freddie is your dude. I find Iggy is unconventional in his approach to music and you can't say he doesn't deserve to be called the godfather of punk.
Truth is, I don't a favorite. I do, however, have favorites such as Ronnie Van Zant mentioned by Herman above.
Here's another fave of mine. He's gone now, but I had the good fortune of seeing him twice in concert and he did not disappoint. Here's the great Eddie Money:
Amen.

Tommy James is another fave vocalist of mine. He and his band,
The Shondells, are deeply entrenched in the soundtrack of my life. I've also seen him live. It's interesting to note he's 78 years young and still touring. He'll be at The Golden Nugget in Vegas October 17th.
This is Crimson & Clover:
Amen.

The 1969 Woodstock movie was my introduction to Joe Cocker. And what an introduction it was! I'd never heard a voice like his, much less seen someone perform they way he did. Sadly, Joe died of lung cancer three days before Christmas 2014 after a long, successful career. He had been a 2-pack per day smoker until quitting in 1991. His cover of this Beatles classic became a classic for him:
Amen.
