I was driving along Highway 10 when I saw this German restaurant in the middle of nowhere.



It was a curious sight so I parked the car & went in.



The decor was extremely dated like something 50 or 60 years ago. Yet it was clean & extremely well maintained. The aged decor only added to its charm. So i sat down requested a menu.



Ordered the most expensive schnitzel on the menu. It was outstanding and delicious. By the end of the night what began as idle curiosity ended in a $50 bill. Expensive but very tasty.



I'd go back one day. Its quite far away from where I live. But sometimes its worth it to go out of your way to try new things, eh.

A German restaurant in Langley is not in the middle of nowhere.  



Where were you really Joe? What were you doing? Were you panhandling in the middle of the highway?  Did your toupee go flying off?
