I'm all for new rock artists breaking out of the dreary mold that modern music has fallen into.



But mimicking an act from the 70's is not contributory to longevity. However, given the dirth of quality rock musicians in this day and age, they're better than most of the formulaic drek that is pumped out by corporate record labels.
