That is a bargain if I ever saw one.

Lol, actually, I'll be spending it on Jeep stuff lol. 4 Saturdays = 4 tires, lulz, for instance. Another is a new clutch kit (mostly jus need the throwout bearing).

Do a proper job and keep the old bits for spares.

1. Your vehicle is less likely to go tits up during this economic recession (deemed Depression after the fact, many years later).

2. You'll have a back-up for everything except the throw out bearing... and all that can be used or traded later.

I suspect short wheel based 4x4's are going to fetch a premium when shit really starts unwinding... so will the parts with the accompanying scarcities.

You can do that yourself?

Not those things lol. I dont touch the trans, and the tires will need a proper balancing before going on the vehicle. MOST stuff I can do to the Jeep myself though. Its so easy working on that thing, lots of room. Plus I have a Factory Service manual, and a Hayes manual. I also get on Jeep forums for knowledge too.

Im about to hit 400,000 miles, Im gonna take it to half a million!!!! Which should be a long time now since I dont drive so far to work anymore. I've had my Jeep for almost 18 years! I frickin' love that thing.

I hate how its hard to find a short wheel based 4x4 these days, other than a Jeep.... which they keep getting bigger. I miss the Suzuki Samurai, the Daihatsu Rocky, and even the Geo Tracker.

10 years was my previous record, an '86 Nissan Sentra hatchback. Lost my virginity in that thing lol. Was such a cool car, very unique, and one of a kind after I got done with it. The back glass got shattered, and I converted the opening into a convertible. Snap down black vinyl with a moon window.

Wish I had a picture of it. Which I know I have a side view of it when I got it, and another side view of it when I painted it. Dont have one of the custom convertible job. I painted it cause someone did a hit and run on the side of it. I painted it purple, and it had that moon window, so I called it the One Eyed, One Horned, Flying, Purple, People Eater lulz.

Have had my Ford Ranger diesel 3.2L for 8 years now.

Only 122,000 kilometres (about 75k on the clock in miles).

I expect it to outlast me.

Though I do try to baby my girl whenever possible.

Blahhhhhh...
