You sure seem to be willing to do a lot of work, like going to a low-fee currency conversion place, for a small slice of a percentage.

I don't see how they couldn't or wouldn't. It's profit for them.

Just like that friggin' eBay or PayPal. I'd find that they would take 2% or so on currency conversions. That's why I'd rather just pay in USD on purchases made from US businesses.
