Cold records are being smashed across the continent. For an El Nino year, it has been really cold in Europe, Asia, and now North America.

Yea I saw it's -40 in Edmonton Calgary and Regina this weekend.

But we probably need it to kill of some mice/rats, crows and other pests to reduce their population

When it's too warm during the winters here, we get bad infestations in the Spring and Summer.

So it's actually better that there's a cold spell to kill them off.

More dead crows the better.

I work from home when it is this cold.

I have never liked cold weather, but I put up with it in the past because Canada was a very pragmatic country that valued opportunity and a variety of opinions. Very sadly, that Canada that we immigrated to is gone and is never coming back.

Next few days are going to be nice but we might get some rain next week.
