In an exclusive interview, Steve Bannon laid out what the beginning of former President Donald Trump's second term would look like if he is elected later this year.

"The first 100 days of President Trump's second term will be the equivalent of the first 100 days of FDR" said Mr. Bannon, the host of the "War Room" podcast.

"FDR, in his first hundred days, started the foundations of building the administrative state, the deep state. The first 100 days of President Trump, I think you'll see the beginning of the deconstruction of that and the destruction of the deep state, along with dozens and dozens and dozens of other policy proposals," he added.

Megyn Kelly has a surprising prediction for Trump's vice president pick — and she doesn't think MAGA voters or Tucker Carlson will be happy about it.

"Is it out of the realm of possibility that he chooses Haley? Absolutely not. It's not. I realize that MAGA doesn't want it. They've convinced themselves that Nikki Haley is against all the things that they stand for," Kelly tells Dave Rubin.

However, Trump has to do what he has to do in order to win, and Haley might be the winning ticket.

"He personally really must win if he doesn't want to go to jail," Kelly explains. "If that's your situation, I think you might be thinking, 'MAGA is gonna get over Nikki Haley if I tell them to get over Nikki Haley.'"

That is unlikely. If Trump wins, he will only serve one term. That is why his VP pick is so important. It has to be someone who can lead the movement after he exits politics. Nikki Haley is not that person.

It turns out men won't buy spank mags which feature fat ugly women.  Sports Illustrated goes woke, goes broke and closes its doors for good.

Ron DeSantis' campaign has already begun moving staff members out of New Hampshire to South Carolina days before the Granite State's first-in-the-nation primary is set to begin.

A senior official in the DeSantis campaign confirmed an earlier CBS report that a majority of the campaign staff was being moved south on Jan. 17.

Tim Scott is more of a traditional conservative and therefore not really a fit.  I could see him on the same ticket as Nikki Haley.

Vivek would be the most obvious successor to Trump. He embraces most of the ideals of the movement, he is an exceptionally good communicator and he can expand the base. The question is, does he want to lead the movement.

True, his most immediate focus is defeating Biden. But, he does care about the movement he built and it's priorities.

A recent U.S. Supreme Court decision to review a case called Fischer v. United States, which experts say could weaken prosecutors' hand in hundreds of Jan. 6 cases, including former President Donald Trump's, is already upending some defendant cases and sentencing proceedings.

In December, the Supreme Court decided it would take up the appeal by Jan. 6 defendant Joseph W. Fisher of the Biden administration's novel use of an Enron-era evidence-tampering law to prosecute hundreds of defendants for obstruction of Congress during the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incident.

The obstruction of Congress charge—which carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison—is the most widely charged felony in Jan. 6 cases, including against President Trump.

France will close its diplomatic mission in Niger following this summer's coup d'etat in the West African nation and a souring of relations between the two countries, according to a letter sent to embassy staff and seen by The Associated Press.

The news that the embassy in Niger's capital Niamey is to close comes as France prepares to withdraw its last remaining military forces from the Sahel state this month.

"The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic is regretfully forced to close the embassy for an indefinite period of time," said a document sent to Nigerien employees of the French embassy dated Dec. 19, 2023, and signed by the French ambassador to Niger, Sylvain Itté.
