So true. And sad.  I know this happened to this lady that my hair dresser helped getting her will redid so they didn't take her estate. She didn't realize she had signed over papers and she had great grandkids she wanted to bless.  Oh I was pissed.  I'm related to some top dawg attorneys.  I hooked her up.  She fought it and got out.  Fucking sick.

 My grandma was poor and raising me on her pension. And she was sending money to these predators.

 It's despicable and vile. Evil. And every one of those pieces of shit are getting their reward NOW but they'll pay for what they have done to people when it's thier turn to face God.

 It really put me off Jesus for a while.  When I was a child, I genuinely believed (because the adults in my life told me this) that in my lifetime, the anti Christ (who they claimed was going to be a man) will come. And all the people are gonna be lined up and offered to take the mark of the beast. And if you say no...you will be beheaded and if you take the mark, you'll burn in hell.

 And I really believed I was gonna grow up just to get beheaded for not taking the mark.  No one taught me what my period was, so when I started (at 9) I was hysterical and convinced i was dying. 
My grandma just got me cleaned up, showed me how to use pads, told me this was gonna happen every month now and it was a curse. That's it. No medical or biological explanation. Just that....I'm cursed.  I didn't even know what tampons were until I was 19. I asked about the commercials and was told it was a "woman thing". Growing up when it came to my own body, the only thing they ever told me was "just wash it and don't be monkeying with it" (about my intimate bits).  I was really ignorant and had a lot of shame about just perfectly normal things. 

 I'm sure i would have had a life long anxiety disorder anyway because of being raised in the charismatic church. Grandma was in the 700 Club and listen to Pat Robertson and everything.

 It DID give me a love for the old hymns. I love hymns.
