Which I found extremely ironic because she's born and raised entirely in the US,the father of her children was Chilean, and I spent a number of years in Chile living/working full time, so when she said she'd listed her kids on Census forms as Mapuche (a made up social construct term/ethnic group with very actual members to it), I lit into her.

As to be expected... she maintained that I wouldn't know as a white man and I was a liar to boot.
