I've seen interviews she's done with other people in the independent media space since her firing and there was absolutely more to it than that several-second clip to which you're referring. The Hill brought in that guest specifically to be antagonistic to Briahna, probably to create exactly the moment they isolated and used as a pretext to fire her.

Same with John Roberts. I may abhor some of his decisions but I can respect the man for going against his party when he truly believes in his heart he is following the constitution.

These are people who stand for something bigger.
