It becomes increasingly clear that the Russian Ukraine War is unwinnable for either side.

It is extremely unlikely that Russia can now nor will ever be able conquer and completely occupy the Ukraine.

However it is also unlikely the Ukraine will ever get all of its pre War borders back.

So essentially it's a stalemate with neither side ever being able to totally ever get what it wants.

So...how should the War end or these two nations be coerced into Peace?

It seems futile for either to keep on fighting given the immense loss of life. In that regard Trump might not be incorrect in stopping the War just to save Russian and Ukraine lives.


Big Question is how they should go about stopping the War & finding an agreeable settlement for both sides.

Any suggestions?

I'm taking the Middle Ground.

And at least in this instance Trump may be correct.

Stop the War to save lives.

And I usually dont agree with Trump nor care much for him but on this issue I think he is right. That War should end.

Big Question is how do they get Ukraine and Russia to agree on a peaceful settlement and stop fighting an unwinnable war for either.

I don't mind someone starting a new thread even if it's a bit like an existing thread. This one, however, is so fundamentally flawed in its very premise that the only response I could muster was a "Funny As Fuck" emoji reaction.

Only other possibilities are that Putin dies in office or Russia runs out of money and China is unwilling to bankroll them. Maybe it's the latter that the US and NATO are counting on.
