She wants no help from Biden.

I don't know what she's thinking if she's trying to put herself at arm's length away from him.  Its too late at this point for her to try to fool people that she's different from him.  There has never been a veep that was not in agreement with the president.  Christ, she is so desperate.

1. In addition to being vp she was also the deciding vote in an otherwise split congress. A factor that gave her considerable power to influence decisions. Even those those Biden himself may have been against.

2. It has been stated many times she was "the last person in the room" with Biden as important decisions were being brainstormed and made. Again, demonstrating considerable influence.
