And you should know there were Never Trumpers in the Republican party ranks that were quite content to ally themselves with the Clintons and Bidens, in spite of it being blatantly obvious that whatever nugget of truth might or might not have been present, the stories were being blown way out of proportion. By people who had no shortage of skeletons in their own closets that to this day go largely uncommented.

That's my point. I'm not disagreeing with you, the Clintons and Bidens have certainly been quite visible in their efforts in that direction and in a perfect world would be held to account for it. But I'm not going to turn a blind eye to others transgressions simply because they have an R after their name. I find double standards repugnant, if a bar has been set then let that measure be the gold standard that everyone is judged by.
